I got the vector compost spreader to add peat and press new grass seed into my new lawn. Worked great. I did dent it by tipping it on its side, so be careful. My baby grass is happy.

This is definitely better than spreading with a shovel or by hand but one drawback is when rolling out the compost there is a wide strip that is bare due to the width of the removable door frame added to the supports on the roller for the door frame. If only applying one coat, you have to go back and manually cover over those gaps or put another layer perpendicular and hope the second set of gaps don't align with the first set of gaps.

Nicely built and works well for spreading peat moss and seed mix. I received this product in less than a week and was pleased with the ease of use, it's made well and should last quite a while. I would recommend this product.

I have 1.5 acres and this thing is just too small. It was easier and faster to dump topsoil all over and rake it. The spreader actually works really well spreading evenly. If it were at least twice the size it would probably be worth it. It became about impossible to shut all the way after the first time filling it up. After that it was super hard to close the final pin. Without that closed the spreader would leave a line all over yard. I used one time and sold online for half price.

Der Kompoststreuer wurde in einem kompakten Paket geliefert und kam vollständig zerlegt. Durch die beschrifteten Teile und Kleinteiletütchen war er ohne Probleme aufgebaut. Leider waren einzelne Komponenten beschädigt. Da die Beschädigungen unterhalb einer sehr guten Verpackung waren, gehe ich von keinem Transportschaden aus sondern von einer Beschädigung während der Produktion.

Fitment wasn’t the best. Dumps soil to fast

Works well with saw size mulch and very very dry top soil but clogs and bunches up and dirt or soil that is at all damp

Very heavy and actually a waste of money for me. Doesn't hold that much product and empties it quickly. Looks good on paper and you would think it would lessen your workload, but it just increases it. I used it once and found it too much work and now it's just taking up space in my shed!

Simply garbage. One of the side latches wouldn't fully latch and the center locking holes wouldn't line up no matter what I did to fix it. This spreader needs center support desperately. It literally was used for 1 attempt at rolling and then put to the side for trash pickup. Maybe it's ok for hand pushing but I would never buy one with the purpose of pulling behind an ATV or tractor. Pure unadulterated garbage. A waste of $150. p.s. Vevor's 100 lb capacity spreader is almost as bad.
