We purchased because of promised quality and it has lasted about 15 months and no parts are available to repair

Only 3 months old and I am getting an error message and your site has no number to call. I tried your live chat which didn't work. I filed a report and was told you would be getting back to me but it's been 2 days and I have heard nothing.

Well i was very impressed when it arrived and I set it up. Worked amazing for 1sr month and just went down hill. The compressor is toast. I did buy extended warranty but it seems to be a waste as I am just getting the run around. This will be my last product I purchase from vevor that runs on 120

After 3 months unit failed. After 3 days of internet nonsense and analyzing my complaint, was told to have an HVAC tech come to my home and recharge the unit as it had a freon leak. WHUUUTTTTT!! BUT WHO PAYS FOR THAT AND WHAT ABOUT WHEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN? It also had a one year warranty but that tells you had good the warranty was. Really bad!! Done with Vevor. Vevor = disposable!

This dehumidifier is robust, fairly quiet and has a conveniently detachable touch control panel with a 30 foot cable. I didn't realize this but it comes with both surface feet and brackets for hanging on threaded rod. It's not as efficient as Aprilaire units, but it's also 1/5th the price. The internally stored duct adapter was very hard to remove, I had to basically unbolt the entire casing. The unit has one annoying flaw in the placement of the internal humidity sensor. It is situated just in front of the evaporator, so that it is perfectly accurate while the fan is pulling air in. When the fan stops (set point reached), humidity reading spikes because in the absence of air movement, the sensor now reads moisture on the evaporator. This causes the unit to turn on and off every few minutes even if the air in the room is very dry. This goes for several hours until the evaporator dries up. This is unnecessary wear and power use. I wound up modifying mine by carefully moving the sensor to the other side of the unit and mounting it outside the display hole. Now, no short cycling. The other thing I recommend modifying is the access panel knobs. The center knob is a pull handle and should not be unscrewed, but it looks just like the rest. I put some washers under it and used threadlocker, so it's obvious that I should not mess with it. UPDATE: After 1.7 years, the evaporator sensor failed (E2 code). Most people probably would not attempt repair and it's out of warranty and replacement parts are not offered. So unless you can figure out that it's a 10K NTC sensor with a 1 meter wire, your unit may go to the landfill

I suppose I am just less than impressed. At this size I would think I could keep our basement at a much lower humidity level. We had stander 70-90 pt units that have kept the levels lower than the 48% that this unit can get down to. Without is on the basement is only in the mid to upper 50% range so we are barely lowering it 10%. I don't believe I would purchase again.

Unit worked well for the first year and a half. After 21 months the sealed R32 refrigerant system developed a leak — green compressor oil with UV dye pooled in the condensate pan and the unit emitted a strong odor during operation. Had to shut it down to prevent compressor damage. Vevor's warranty is only 12 months, so no coverage. After negotiating, they offered a $70 PayPal refund and a $30 discount code as goodwill — appreciated, but not close to the cost of replacing a $650 unit. For a commercial-grade dehumidifier the refrigerant system should last significantly longer than 21 months. I replaced it with an AlorAir Storm LGR Extreme which carries a 6-year warranty on the refrigeration system.

Received the the unit, well packed, in excellent condition. Once unpacked and put together, it turn on and ran great for about 2 weeks went in to check the drain one morning and it was off. I tried turning it back on, unplugging and plugging back in, verified power and still nothing. Customer service was very good and sent a replacement. I will update this once i have it back up running and it has been without issue for a few months.

It says it'll pull out 70 pints per day but it seems like im only getting 10-15 pints. The area that it's in has been between 65- 70% humidity and the thing has run non stop since I installed it. It seems built pretty decent though and very simple to use
