The plucker arrived damaged but after talking to Vevor for over a week they gave me a partial refund. Delivery took a week longer than expected. They use a delivery company that has to schedule a delivery date with you. When you think you will be receiving your product delivery company calls you to schedule a delivery date a week after. After all the initial issues finally got to use the plucker. My first broad breasted turkey was too heavy, the plucker wasn't even starting. Removed legs and head, still didn’t work. It works well with heritage turkeys or chickens. Overall is ok if you are looking for a cheaper option but you pretty much get what you paid for.

Seems to get clogged up under where the feathers go under the spinning part

GFI Trips constantly - feathers get jammed up quickly. Was very close to returning the day we got it.

This plucker does work correctly for smaller birds I.e. 4lbs. That said most birds that are worth raising for meat now are over in the range of 6 - 10lbs. If you use it for larger birds you can only put one in the barrel which causes the back and wings to not get plucked. Here is where more engineering is needed; the space inside the barrel for drainage gets clogged with feathers. Due to the clogging this requires you to manually remove the feathers or thoroughly clean the system after each bird. THIS IS SUCH A PAIN! I would love to use this for production use but I’m not sure I will ever be able to until this clogging feature is fixed.

We plucked around 20 chickens and this thing stopped working! Then I contacted Vevor and they told me to replace the capacitor and sent me money via PayPal?! That nice and all but how about you make a quality product that doesn’t break before a season is over! Avoid this $399 paper weight and get another brand that is NOT Vevor or Yardbird!

The machine came on time opening the machine. It was missing apart. I got the part but taking it out of the packaging, the spin barrel was misshapen so taking it apart and trying to get it put back together in the same spot was very difficult. It’s very low quality aluminum not stainless steel. Other than that the machine worked perfect and I’ve gotten more than one use out of it thus far.

It came with the feather shoot completely dented and caved in, there was no time to return it so we just left it bent and it wobbles and damages the turkeys and chickens pretty badly, we've been doing this for a while, so we were excited to upgrade, but this was kind of a waste of money.

Bought the plucker this past fall, followed all the instructions on first use, and it still did not work correctly. Motor burned out on first use. Company sent me a replacement motor, but it was damaged and worthless. Now I am left with a worthless plucker that I have to try to Jimmy rig up some sort of way to power it.

FedEx delivered plucker,, pushed it over the top of a 6’ fence dropping it and destroyed the plucker. VEVOR answered initially asking us to use a rubber mallet to push the dents back out but it is so out of whack that the latches no longer latch. VEVOR has ignored my emailss since.
