Five stars for comfort, adjustability, and folding designs. Two stars for pedal mounting, apparently for short legs only. I re-engineered the lower mount: I unmounted the foot pedestal, flipped it around, flattened the front edge. Then I positioned my pedals one inch over the forward edge that I had flattened out. This way my longer legs fit perfectly and the assembly still folded without interfering.

High quality tubular steel frame painted matted black. Really nice and sharp looking, I expected lawn chair quality for the price, but I was very pleased to get a sturdy stand that came fully assembled. Hardest thing was to attach my Logitech G29’s wheel and pedals as they are rather heavy and you have to find the sweet spot where all the holes and bolts align. Once assembled you get a sturdy stand that can easily get folded in or out. It comes with several Velcro strips for nicely strapping the steering wheel’s cables to the frame so they don’t dangle. The frame and steering wheel together are a bit heavy. I don’t think that an 8 year old would have trouble unfolding, but then again maybe. Mine came in pristine condition, no pieces missing and not damaged. Functions as described in the literature from the vendor. Also, shipping took two days to come to Texas from Illinois. I’m happy with this purchase, great value for the price.

PRODUCT VEVOR Foldable Racing Steering Wheel Stand - WS-L01 REVIEW 100% better than using your wheel clamped to a desk or your pedals loose on the floor. I never got into racing games, even though I had a wheel and pedals. Prior to using a stand (like this one) my controllers were never at the right height and moved around too easily. I did not want to invest a ton of money on an expensive racing rig, I just needed something basic to hold my wheel and pedals securely. This stand does that very well and is a good value overall. For the most part it is already assembled, you just need to install the shifter bracket (if you need it at all). Otherwise, you just unfold it and adjust it to your liking, then attach your gear. Now only my poor racing skills are the issue, not the slipping and sliding gear. There is one issue that is a design / packaging flaw. It is hard to describe you should see the pictures. Basically the assembly bar that holds the steering wheel and shifter can slide too far down into the base of the stand. This forces the built in metal receivers for the shifter into the plastic height locking mechanism and damages that mechanism. Once you force the steering wheel bar out of the height locks, the locks are damaged and misaligned. With a little persuasion, you can get everything aligned again and working. In then end it just becomes cosmetic damage. RECOMMENDATION This is a great starter racing stand, and other than the defect described above, I recommend it for anyone new to racing.

I ordered this stand for use with a Logitech G920 Wheel + Pedals as well as a separate 6 speed H style gear shifter. The assembly was straight forward and fairly easy. There wasn't a lot to do before it was unfoldable into a stand. However, the gear shifter mounting arm and plate that attaches to it seemed out of alignment. I guess the arm does stick out to the side in the pictures but the vertical positioning seems to be off and the plate that sits on top is almost non-level. Just seemed a bit off. Stability once assembled is a little wobbly but that's somewhat to be expected when making a portable/foldable version of a stand. Left to right wobbles a bit but not much front to rear. It did stay stable during game play so not necessarily an issue. The kit comes with additional bolts for securing the wheel, pedals and shifter. 6 for the pedals, 2 for the wheel and 4 for the shifter. The wheel itself has a bracket system in the front and the two bolts secure the rear of the wheel to mounting plate. Those holes lined up perfectly with the G920. The pedals were slightly less lined up during assembly but I was able to screw everything in. The shifter I used was an unknown brand I hadn't heard of before but I was able to secure it with 4 bolts that lined up ok. That's a whole different review. For what it is (foldable) it seems to be fairly decent but could use a better bolting system for the shifter arm. That portion just feels less cohesive. I'm 6'2\" and found the height to be acceptable with some additional room for expanding it.

I've been into gaming for a long time but always got bored with racing games because I never had a very good set up and I was pretty bad at them. lol I've tried to avoid spending a lot of money getting a set up, so this was a great introduction for setting up my first driving accessories. The opening/assembly was pretty easy. The material is certainly sturdy. The challenge we have is how lightweight it really is in comparison to the combined weight of the attached hardware and the force of a human that might overcompensate during a driving sim. Getting more used to it has helped, but there's a learning curve in general. I don't know if I'll be using this long term, but it's been an excellent way to get started. Since I'm not doing driving sims all the time, it's really nice that it folds down for storage. Great starter!

I would give this racing sim/ wheel stand a higher review, but there are a couple shortcomings. First, mine was received damaged despite all the padding inside the box. The adjustable main frame that holds the wheel itself was jammed in too far and I needed to detach it using a hammer, which is less than ideal. Subsequently, the plastic collars that the frame sits in on both sides were cracked already. This doesn't really affect functionality, but for the price, it would be nice to receive one in pristine condition. The second shortcoming is that mine is wobbly. Not sure that it was caused by the shipping damage that also made the frame stuck, but my unit isn't 100% stable. This factor does affect functionality when playing. Its not a huge deal, but a minor nuisance. The third shortcoming is having the platform that holds the foot pedals a smooth metal and not having a rubber mat or something of the sort to place the pedals on. When playing a racing game, especially if you're actually using the clutch pedal to shift gears, the lack of grip on the platform makes it easy to kick the pedals off of the stand. I have yet to figure out a permanent solution, but currently using two old belts to hold the pedal control in place. Overall, it is a decent product, maybe I just received a defective unit, but considering the price compared to comparable products, it's a good budget unit. It is pretty heavy duty, easy to set up and is easily adjustable.

It is more comfortable to use the stand compared to using the desk for sure. The thing said to be compatible with Thrustmaster steering wheel and pedals, and it is kind of yes, but not exactly. There was nothing in the box to actually connect the thing, and there were no openings on the plates corresponding to the steering wheel part. So, after using a bunch of zip ties and stuff, we did attach everything to the stand, but now it all works well. When they show how nicely the stand can be folded and stuffed under the couch, they do not mention that there would be the steering wheel and pedals attached so it wouldn' t actually fit this way at all. It is foldable, and it takes less space than if it was unfolded. but do not expect miracles. It is super easy to fold and unfold it.

I needed a fixed solution for mounting my Thrustmaster T80 steering wheel and the Vevor X-shaped Light Foldable Steering Wheel stand has been a great low-cost solution so far. It arrives mostly assembled so the only installation needed is attachment of the shifter arm and the attachment of the steering wheel, pedals and shifter. The Vevor is designed to accommodate the shifter arm on either the left or right of the user and the needed hardware and tools are provided for mounting. The instructions provided are simple for attaching the gear shift plate but they do not provide any guidance in attaching the the wheel, pedals or shifter so each user will need to determine that on their own. That said, the additional M16*16 screws that are provided should work with most units in securing the wheel, pedals and shifter down. However, for my wheel, I had to use the wheel's provided clamp given the lack of mounting holes on the unit For the most part, I have found the Vevor to be mostly balanced while in use though it does wobble a little bit when doing quick turns. I suspect the heavier-duty pro model would likely address that. I should also note that my steering wheel does not have force feedback so I'm not sure how that might impact stability/comfort for other users. I do like how the steering wheel plate and pedal plates are adjustable to meet the users needs, though it took a little trial and error to keep the steering plate from moving down (again, better instructions from the get-go would have helped). It works great with my desk chair when playing GRID. And I do love how easy it is to fold up the unit to store it and expand it for use, especially in our somewhat cluttered basement. And the provided velcro cables help to keep the steering wheel cables safe and secure when folding and unfolding the unit. All told, a good starter sim unit for those just getting started in sim racing.
