I bought this so my wife could water her grow boxes without have to untangle the garden hose and drag to over to her grow boxes and the coil it backup only to have to do it again the next day. we use 4, 250 gallon water totes plumbed together to collect rain water and an electric pump, I mounted the hose reel next to the switch that turns on the pump so now all that she has to do is to turn on the pump and pull the hose over to the to the farthest grow box and start watering and once she is done just give a pull on the hose and let it recoil and flip off the power switch to the pump and Bada Bing Bada Boom and she is done with the watering, she love it very much, Happy WIFE Happy LIFE!!! It was very easy to install and yes we would buy it again. NOTE: I you live in an area that freezes in the winter you will NEED to drain the hose of ALL OF THE WATER or it could freeze and damage the it.

The overal opinion is good. the material used if very nice. My problem with the quality is the inability of the hose guide to both correctly guide the hose for retraction and the retrace that retraction for payout. All too often the hose has reeled up to one side and for some reason, the pull out has the guide either too far to the opposite side or all the way to the opposite of the hose coil This problem can only be resolved by manully uncoiling the hose to line up with the guide.

Great purchase. Fast delivery. But missing french text on the box and instruction in french.

Decent product, only issue is it twists up when you have it locked out and walk around.

Seems to be a descent product. Has a very small drip inside. Time will tell if it holds up.

The only complaint we have is that when pulling out the hose you only have one chance to get the amount of hose you need,in other words you don't seem to be able to use the hose at 30 ft then pull out more and go to 50 ft

I really like the house and retractable reel! The attachments like spray nozzles, are cheap made and broke before I used it.

I really like the functionality of this retractable hose reel, as well as how the hose case pivots 180 degrees. My only issue and concern is how easily the hose kinks if loops as you pull it at 90-180 degrees or even when you drag the hose back over itself. Hoping this kinking will not cause the hose to rupture prematurely at some point. Time will tell.

This retractable hose reel makes my watering so much easier. Our yard is very large, and now I do not have to haul around a long hose. My only disappointment is that I have lost quite a bit of water pressure, not having the 5/8" hose. We had to drop to 1/2 inch as the 5/8" didn't come long enough for our yard. I will accept the loss on the water pressure to not having to haul hose around the yard.

Over all this product was good. Just where I installed it the sun hits that side on the hottest time. Hope the plastic holds up for a few years. Worth it beside that..
