Recently performed a Torque Converter + Pump replacement, and this Transmission Hoist was worth every dollar. It lifts and lowers very slowly, which is perfect for a job like this. And the Tilt feature was extremely useful aligning the bolts. Highly recommend one if you're a DIY automotive individual. Will be replacing a Transfer Case next, so this unit has already paid for itself!

You get what you pay for. Decent jack for small and medium sized transmissions. I’ve used it for a couple heavy duty transmissions and it did the job. I was very cautious using it and definitely didn’t get under the transmission until it was bolted to the engine

The 1 Ton version is truly massive! A lot bigger and heavier than expected. Totally different class from your average garage car jack. I could have gone with the smaller 1/2ton version, but it was sold out and i got a good deal on the 1 Ton. It does what it is supposed to do, and with ease. Could not have done this job without a proper transmission floor jack. That Forester gearbox is a heavy beast, but peanuts for this jack. Tilt angle adjustment is great and an absolute must have. The side adjustment is quite pointless and could have done without it. Sag is minimal, but not zero (after a couple of hours it will have dropped a couple of mm's) I greased all of the threads and wheel bushings before using it. Everything was bone dry when it was shipped to me. I also added a couple of additional washers on the tilt and side adjustment spindles to reduce backlash. One minor design issue is that the lifting arms drop every so slightly too low in the down position, so they touch the ground and prevent smooth rolling on the floor. Nothing serious, just jack it up a little and you are good to go. So despite of some possible minor improvements, its still a great transmission jack and i enjoy using it very much.

Bought this bad boy to drop the transmission on a 2008 Ford F-350. Before I got to begin that process the truck changed owners and was no longer up for me to repair. However just putting it together I can tell this thing is stout and well made. I’m glad I purchased this Jack instead of spending relatively the amount for one with a lower weight rating. It’s priced just right to have it on hand when the need arises! I have no doubt it would have handled the F-350 and I’ll be using it soon on an F-150 that will be a cinch. Thanks Vevor!

Works as expected, great value, only catch is the screws for brackets are too long and get in the way. Also why Allen heads?
