I have owned many ultrasonic cleaners in my life. I have big and small ones (for jewelry and glasses), but I wanted something in between. This 2L one seemed perfect. When I unpacked it, I could not believe the quality. This is a super high-quality professional cleaner. You can tell this from the build quality, packaging, and documentation. It comes with a removable power cable, basket with stowaway handles, lid, and, of course, the unit. You turn it on by using the timer knob, and you can heat it to 110C max. This is confusing because water boils at 100C, so maybe this is if you have some particular cleaning solution that can withstand higher temps? I like to keep things around 60-70C because I don't want to damage the items or melt any plastic. The unit heats up fast, but I like to shortcut it by filling the tank with warm water from the tap and putting in a few drops of dishwashing liquid. I used to have a bottle of \"specialty\" cleaning solution that I'll test out next. I've found the machine helpful in cleaning items that are hard to reach, such as in the crevices of coffee mug tops. I'd highly recommend this unit.

PROS: + No louder than any standard ultrasonic cleaner, but I'd probably use it in another room than the one you're in. + The basket is nice, it keeps everything off off the bottom of the cleaner/floating around. + The heating element was nice, it got up to temp super quick. Even without a specific jewelry cleaner, it cleaned my wedding ring and a few assorted bracelets completely. Definitely worth it - nothing else cleaned my wedding ring as well as this.

After collecting a few other items I needed I finally got to try out my Vevor US Record Cleaner. Despite most of the reviews I saw singing its praises I admit I was sceptical BUT now I have tried it I have to agree. To get an ultrasonic cleaner for such a bargain price that also does what it is intended to do is a great deal. The records I cleaned with it def looked cleaner and more to the point sounded better than they did prior to cleaning. Very happy with my purchase. Not sure how you're meant to clean 8 records at a time tho as there are only enough discs to do 4-5 at a time!? (unless I am missing something?) One thing tho, as mentioned in a few online reviews as it comes the records do seem to spin too fast, I overcame this by buying an adjustable power supply/adapter for it to slow the rotation. That's about it really.

Does job very well. Much faster than other methods. Cleans old 78s like you wouldn't believe. Only thing is recycling the cleaning solution. I ended up with a fish tank pump pumping out through a refrigerator filter. If the cleaning solution is very dirty I pump out through a fine filter/strainer first to avoid blocking the fridge filter. The pvc tubing is a bit cheap - kinks off easily. Photos - filtering setup; and filtered solution after 100+ 78s.

I don't own a single vinyl album so cannot comment on this tool's intended usage, but for a woodworker, it's a game changer. Spending 20 minutes with a brass wire brush scraping sap and resin off of each of the 96 teeth on a miter saw crosscut blade (after letting the blade soak in hot, soapy water for an hour) is a major inconvenience—so much so that I would often let my blades go for too long without cleaning them. The result, of course, is increased cut times, excessive heat build up, scorch marks on the wood, and a generally unpleasant time. And that was still preferable to giving the blade a good cleaning. This cleaner changed everything. I can get a blade looking good as new in about 60 seconds using nothing more than tap water and a splash of dish soap. I still don't tire of turning on the ultrasonic cleaner and watching my water turn brown in an instant as pitch, tar, and resin get ejected from my blades. It's like magic. It'll clean a 10" blade on the included spinner without a problem, even if the shaft isn't perfectly aligned on the larger arbor and it wobbles around a bit. For a 12" blade, the clearance between the teeth and the sides of the container is about 3/16" if the blade is perfectly centered, which means that wobbling around a bit isn't an option. You'll need to make a custom 1" spacer to fit perfectly inside the sawblade's arbor; a hole saw and bit of scrap wood work nicely for this. I've also successfully cleaned 115" bandsaw blades. You'll never get the whole blade in at once, but by soaking the lower part of the blade and manually turning it every few seconds to expose the dirty parts to the water, you'll eventually get your whole bandsaw blade cleaned in way less time than it would take to scrub it. I've also cleaned router bits by suspending them from a cord in the water (after removing any bearings) since I didn't think the metal blades bouncing around against the metal container was a good idea. The petcock at the bottom to drain the water is fantastic. The heater is great and keeps the water nice and toasty. The build quality seems good, though I do wish the manufacturer had done a better job of water proofing a device that is destined to live its live around water; you can actually see some circuit board through slits in the metal body. Things I would change: I wish the spinner rotated about 1/4 as fast as it does. Each tooth is exposed to the water for maybe three seconds before coming out (although even given that, it does work wonders). I wish there were included 5/8" and 1" spacers for sawblade arbors, but I get that this is designed as record cleaning tool. Seriously, if you're a woodworker, this is a game changer.
