THe first night of installation, I threw it on the floor and gave-up. Second night, I had a few rum and cokes, and three hours later I was able to assemble this bad boy. The instructions are worse then Ikea. If you don't like doing lego or trying to make plastic pieces lock together, hire someone to do this. Get the nextdoor neighbours kid to help you. Ultimatley, it's a fancy composter that tumbles easily. I am happy with it.

Mega veel boutjes en moertjes verder, een mooie degelijke composterbin! De composterbin is in zijn totale vorm stabiel en voelt degelijk aan. Het kost even wat geduld om in elkaar te zetten, maar het brengt dan ook een fijne composterbin. De functie is totaal afhankelijk van de composter zelf, mij in dit geval, dus dat komt wel goed!

VEVOR Trommelkomposter seit Frühjahr 2025 im Dauereinsatz – wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Kompostierung. Alles aus unseren drei großen Hochbeeten kommt rein, der grobe Kompostierprozess läuft im Sommer hervorragend. Großer Pluspunkt: Die leichte Handhabung, auch voll lässt er sich problemlos drehen – alle paar Tage zum Mischen empfohlen. Keine Schnecken, da bodenlos positioniert. Ein Stern Abzug: Abplatzende schwarze Beschichtung beim Auspacken an den Metallbeinen birgt Rostgefahr.

Montage war ein bisschen frickelig und viiiele Schräubchen, aber ok. Er funktioniert technisch, lässt sich drehen und füllen, könnte auch zum ausleeren gut klappen- aber da erstmal Winter ist fülle ich ihn halt aber kann nicht sagen ob die Rotte wirklich klappt, es ist einfach zu kalt. Ich glaube, es waren etwa 5000 winzige Schrauben nötig, um das zusammenzubauen. Sobald es zusammengebaut ist (ohne alle Schrauben zu verwenden), ist es einfach zu verwenden. Mir gefällt der Tumbler, der sich leicht drehen lässt. Die Schiebetür ist etwas klein. Meine Vorstellung, damit Laub zu entsorgen, wird nicht wahr, aber ich habe jede Menge Küchen- und Gartenabfälle, die ich verwenden kann.

Einfach zu bedienen. Das einzige Problem ist, dass die mittlere Trennwand nicht richtig passt. Es ist, als wäre sie zu klein.

This bin has many many pieces and they definitely have a process that cannot be switched up ….so don’t just start putting things together ... .My husband did this and we ended up taking over half of it back apart to get the center divider in properly. Read the directions and lay the parts out so that you get the idea….to give my husband proper credit…he builds houses so he typically doesn’t need directions to see how something should fit together. This is the exception. The center divider looked like it should fit snugly but instead just kind of hangs out in the middle groove. ( so it’s not a tight fit like the other pieces ) It does need to be in the slot allotted and we found it helpful to have the center pole through the ends and through the center panel to keep it from rotating. This may have worked for us because we started behind the 8 ball…but if you are having issues with this matter…it solved 90% for us. As we assembled and disassembled, we did have a screw pop loose, through the plastic….it did not tear away any plastic but enlarged the hole somewhat so when we went back to attach that section, we used some small black washers that we had on hand, just to insure it didn’t cause a issue later. We do think that the divider will not prevent anything tiny from transferring between the two halves….which probably doesn’t matter at all. During the point of assembly, we did wish we had chosen the other style bin with two separate halves….it would have simplified the assembly ( not being so large to handle all at once and no fiddly middle panel ). Several have found issue with the height but I find it to be adequate….I will likely make a paver pad for it to prevent weeds from growing up around it and doing that will raise it a couple inches or stacking pavers &/or cinder blocks would create a custom height if my husband (6’4”) would prefer it to be higher.
