I purchased the 27-ft tree pruner cuz I have some high branches and some of my trees and I have some very tall arborvitae trees. It worked really well I only complain is sometimes the string that pulls the cutter comes off the pulley and gets jammed too bad there wasn't a covering over it so it stays where it's supposed to. Let besides that I like it very much.

I bought this saw as a gift to a friend. He loves most of the features, except for the thickness of the blades. I've been told that for branches that are low, when only using a few poles, it works great. But when using more poles on a larger 6" or larger diameter branch, with the flex of the poles, the blade is too flimsy and hard to start and maintain a proper cut. So this is a great concept, but would be better with a more rigid blade, or having the option of purchasing a more rigid blade when ordering.

Good quality although the connections are a little week and loosen easy overall a quality tool would recommend for light duty work 👍

Quick delivery, packaged nicely, good quality. But—- this pole saw is dangerous. It needs to have a positive locking mechanism to prevent it from coming apart when doing real tree work.

Much heavier than described, good luck getting that all the way up fully assembled!

This thing has some good features and the price was right but if you hook all the poles up it flexed a lot and the sections tend to come unscrewed. It will wear you out with all the poles hooked together. I like the double pulley giving you a 3:1 mechanical advantage but the rope came off the pulley and frayed so I'll put some Paracord on it. It's really not a bad day for the price. It did pay for itself on the first job but it is a little aggravating when the poles start coming loose. Some duct tape might fix that though. It's worth the money.

Bought the pole saw to prune a large oak tree. It’s fairly easy to use at shorter lengths, but gets heavy and difficult to position and reposition at longer lengths. I found it more manageable to assemble the sections of the pole in an open area near the tree and then stand the pole up like pole jumper. In a vertical position, perpendicular to the yard (90 degrees) the pole has weight, but that weight and strength required increases exponentially as the angle decreases. This makes the pole difficult to use, specifically when maneuvering around branches. When cutting a branch with the saw blade, slow and steady strokes is key. Otherwise, the sections of the pole loosen. When this happens, the pole has to be removed from the tree, retighten, and repositioned. The cutting attachment, with the pull cord, is heavy and the blade is flimsy making the pole saw unusable at longer lengths. Rated this product two stars based on its difficulty and strength required to use. It’s not for everyone.
