Aerator was easy to assemble; however, when the handle was installed on the roller, the bar running through the roller was not centered properly meaning the same amount was not extending through each end of the roller the same distance. Once the handle was in position, the included washer could not be used, but I was able to utilize the cotter pin so the handle was installed and working. As for using the aerator, I used 2 bags (1 gallon freezer bags) of sand to add weight to the roller. The aerator was fairly easy to roll around my yard. It would have been even easier if the handle had a "T" at the end where you push instead of just a single gripped end. By having a "T", you would be able to use both hands in the same way that you would use them on a lawnmower, bicycle or such. I will amend my aerator to create a way for both of my hands to be used to push the aerator around my yard. By having the handle attach the way it does, it's quick and easy to change directions while using it because you just push the handle over to the other side (flip it) and go back the other direction.

Could be heavier. The handle is just bad, it comes in four pieces with three too small annoying screws cause as you roll you need to put downward pressure pressing against these screws. The whole pole is loose cause epunched hales are larger than bold head and nut so that’s something that needs fix.

Purchased it August 7th. I am not happy with the aerator. It is not heavy enough to penetrate the ground. I put stone inside of the roller to make it heavy. You need to water the grass prior to using the aerator. Probably good for small lawns only.

Not easy to use

The steel roller is way too difficult to remove to add sand. It should come off easily according to the instructions but it just doesn’t.

Die Walze ist zu leicht, die Spikes sinken nicht in die Erde. Man muss viel Druck ausüben, damit die Spikes in die Erde eindringen. Wenn man dabei abrutscht, wird man selbst aufgespießt.

It's pretty tough to work it, not sure if it could be any easier. I have a small back yard and after using it on my lawn. I would rather rent a gas powered one. Not sure what it would take to make a electric one as far as cost.

Misschien had ik het niet moeten verzwaren met zand, want echt robuuts is het handvat/steel in ieder geval niet... Had gehoopt dat ik het ook als 'wals' kon gebruiken om graszaad 'in de modder te drukken', maar... dat werkt niet zo goed met dit ding... Vermoed dat zonder 'verzwaren' het 'verdichten van de grond' niet werkt, prikt wel goed gaatjes in de grond.

Metal is flimsy, wouldn’t use for big jobs.

I would love to write a great review but the problem is that when my package came it came with a missing piece and I have been unable to put it together….also I requested to have the piece that’s missing to be shipped to me and unfortunately I have not even got a real answer from anybody about what’s going on….i chat online with someone who sends me to a email chain and haven’t gotten a answer in almost a week now…. Nobody is able to give me a answer and when I told them I get a auto response asking if the package was damaged that’s all….the package is not damaged it’s just simply missing the piece I need
