My VEVOR 7-in-1 weather station with 7.5 inch display worked well while it lasted. It lasted ... exactly 4 months beyond than its 1-year warranty. VEVOR's customer support gave me a $20 partial refund for my trouble. The display still works. I wish I could buy just a new sensor unit to pair with my display. In fact I could reuse the old solar recharging battery pack with a new sensor unit.

Pool sensor NEVER worked!, attempted to return but found the system frustrating .

I’ve been a VEVEOR Customer for more than a year and bought many great products. I am a retired airline pilot and have made weather a large part of my life by association with flying. I have a good understanding of weather and enjoy monitoring it and how it affects life. When I realized VEVOR had many weather stations I spent time trying to decide on the right one and picked this unit because of the good reviews of the display and great reception via wireless. I received the unit promptly and it appeared well-packaged and in good shape upon arrival. I installed per the directions and chose to mount on a flagpole at about 25’ in the air so as to get good wind measurements. Wireless reception is fantastic as the unit is about 100’ feet away and I get great signal. UNFORTUNATELY the wind speed measurement is HORRIBLE and NOT accurate AT ALL. The other day we had 30+ mph winds and all the unit would register was 12mph - this is consistent and usually it registers NO wind speed, even when the tree tops are blowing noticeably. (Attached image is of the unit displaying 9.8 mph when NOAA was reporting over 20mph in my area) Consequently I opened a “ticket” with customer service, attached a VIDEO and an image per their request, and received an immediate auto-reply that my issue was being promptly reviewed by representative - then I waited. 7 days later I was informed that comparing the unit displayed speeds to other sources, such as the weather service was not recommended as these are ‘professional’ services, and that my unit should be toggled between steady and gust mode - I could choose between the two. Unfortunately this has NO affect on wind speed accuracy as the speed is still not correct at all. I presume the unit is not functioning properly and replied to their analysis requesting either a replacement unit or a refund. I was promptly greeted with another auto-reply stating representatives are “promptly” reviewing my case. That was three days ago - and still no response or resolution. SO unfortunately my only recourse is to deny the credit card charge as VEVOR customer service is not that at all. It’s a shame and really poor treatment of someone who has been a big supporter of their products and tells people about them all the time. Not anymore :(

This isn’t really ready for market but it looks impressive. Especially bad are the wind sensors, direction and speed. The mount is strong. Temperature rarely matches other sensors. Constantly predicting rain in the desert. Doesn’t seem to be a way to connect to accurate forecasts.

La station est arrivée en parfait état. L'installation a été un peu compliquée par le fait qu'il manquait les petits vis nécessaires pour fixer la platine au mat, le sachet de mon colis ne comprenant que des grands vis. La station fonctionne parfaitement si l'on exclu le WIfi vraiment trop compliqué à installer et entrant en interférence avec la box SFR puisque le http donné pour l'activation du wifi de la station est le même; bilan toute une partie des fonctionnalités de la station n'est pas accessible me faisant regretter mon achat qui devient bien trop cher par rapport à une station identique sans wifi. Il est dommage qu'un simple système d'apairage n'ai pas été pensé, d'autant que cette procédure est très courante aujourd'hui.

The station never connected with my phone, even after I downloaded the app and everything. I just put it back in the box and purchased a station from another vendor. It is still in the box.

Annoncé: La station météo solaire permet le transfert de données en temps réel via Wi-Fi et prend en charge les connexions Weather Underground et WeatherCloud. LE PROBLEME C’EST QUE LE SERVEUR WEB N’UTILISE QUE L’ADRESSE ip 192.168.1.1 ! Ce qui n’est pas annoncé ! L’assistance en ligne contacté pour savoir si l’on pouvait changer cette adresse n’a toujours pas répondu au bout d’une semaine. Cette adresse IP comme pour beaucoup est celle de mon DNS et de mon Firewall ! Faut-t-il que je révise toute la sécurité de mon réseau (10 appareils) pour faire place a cette gaminerie. Si j’avais su je ne l’aurais pas acheté. Je dois renoncer a la liaison WiFi et toutes ses fonctionnalités Dommage car la station est bien, capteur comme écran, mais la description trompeuse. ACHAT A EVITER

It looks great but I was disappointed to find out it only runs on 2.4Ghz as my computer modem runs on (I think) 5.6Ghz so I cannot transfer any data to the computer. Also, it has to be plugged into the wall socket at all times and the batteries are only for backup for power outages and are not rechargable. It probably doesn't use a lot of power to run but I am a disability pensioner who has to be careful how much power I use. Other than those things, all is good. Cheers, Barry NEIL.
