Follow directions as written. Worked extremely well locating my in ground dog fence wire. Very accurate.

First time ever using one. Real simple to use from the directions. I was trying to figure out where the wire went to the house so I can figure out if it was disconnected notice that the signal would drop off and be silent after about 12 ft thinking that it wasn't working I was wrong put a shovel in the ground and found a broken wire exactly where it stopped making tone. Tried it out with another wire running across the property and was able to pick it up from Easley 500 ft with good sound.

This cable locator exceeded my expectations, I used it to find wires in walls that were covered up by the sheet rock crew. And it found them within inches.

I got this to trace the underground dog fence in my yard and it worked extremely well. I would definitely recommend this product. It's simple to use and the cost was fantastic.

I purchased this to locate an underground power line feeding our shed. I didn’t read the instructions at first and after an hour of trying, thought it was garbage. After reading the instructions, I drove a metal strike in the ground for the ground connection and easily found the *VOID* in the signal. The line was directly 18” below with pin-point accuracy!

I used this underground wire detector to find a break in my underground dog fence wire, and it worked very well. There is definitely a learning curve at first, especially understanding the difference between the analog and digital settings and figuring out the proper sensitivity adjustment. Once I got everything dialed in correctly, it was very accurate and made locating the break much easier than expected. Overall, a very useful tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to do once you learn how to use it properly.

Easy to use and great price

It wotks so good. Shoot i traced irrigation wire about 3400 feet from start point dug it up and was on point. I did this to 126 wires for system, and I would say, I was only of about two feet on about five wires, out of a hundred twenty six.

This product works great. Used it to locate abandoned sewer lines in RV park. Connected positive lean to end of 100 foot metal fish tape and ran fish tape down sewer line. Unit picked up signal without any problems. Product is well built and durable. Best money I have ever spent. Thank you
