Bought it to localize my robot lawnmower guide cable breakage. Worked as expected, found the break in 10 minutes. Worth it's price, can recommend it. You have to use common sense when detecting. Read the user guide and follow it.

Found a break in underground electric dog 'fence' in Lee's than 15 minutes. No problems. A perfect tool for the job!

I didn't fully try it just made sure it was working and it dies find cables ok instructions are not great but it will be handy to find wires or cables

Used to find a broken underground dog fence work well

It's great, it detects cables very well in walls.

I've used Vevor products in the past and have been completly satisfied. This particular device (wire locator) was delivered after the job was completed so I had no need for it and will return. The vevor return policy is also "top notch".

My fellow citizens. The world of broken and bent nails can be enlightening and fulfilling when we think of the possibilities afforded to us when applying a hammer strike to a broken or bent nail. Those of you, who are awe stricken with the understanding and discipline, are surely a cog in the mechanism of day to day stimulation of intelligent thinking and reasoning. Go forth now and echo the understanding and passion of broken and bent nails!

Works good for tracing my old landscaping wire that was installed prior to moving in. The transmitter eats 9 volt batteries like they are nothing. within 2 days of about maybe 4 hours use total, the indicator started blinking. It still traces, but I'll probably go through a few batteries before this is all over. Other than that, just gotta get used to how the signals come and go as you get to junctions, or cuts in wire, etc. Kind of an artform so to speak. Once you get used to how the sounds change and sensitivity affects tracing, works pretty good. DOES NOT COME WITH A GROUND STAKE or something to use for an earth ground. I used an old metal camping stake.
