sturdy enough for my 3uzfe "old lexus v8" but its only about 430-480 lbs tops, and its drooping a little , wouldn't put anything heavier than that . granted it was cheap but it would never hold 1500lbs safely doing the job for now ,but wish i spent a little more on a better one

The engine stand was reasonably easy to put together, it's a decent design but the execution leaves something to be desired. The plate that the black arms bolt to was welded to the black cylinder slightly clocked, and the hole in the orange cylinder that it slides into was also slightly clocked, so the plate is quite angled when the pin is inserted. The picture shows how tilted the plate is when it's supposed to be horizontal. I can compensate for it somewhat by adjusting the arms, but it's still a bit annoying. Also, after rotating the engine, the pin is difficult to install again, the holes don't line up really well along the axis of rotation. Probably why the price was so good.

Works as expected

For a person like me that will use this twice a decade, it's a great choice. I don't have an engine hung on it yet but it seems beefy enough. It comes with zero assembly instructions but I found it easy enough to figure out by the picture. The hardware is really cheap Chinese junk but again, for my use, it'll work fine. Overall quality is poor, the paint is flaking off because they did zero prep before painting it. The paint wont effect its functionality and at this price I don't expect much so not deducting stars for that. Long review short, quality is what you'd expect but it should do its job just fine.

Works like it should.It's hold the motor right now.So far about a week or two?Haven't got to it yet.I'll let you know how it performs in the end

Good overall but hard to get the pin back in when you rotate it but still a good buy

The Vevor engine stand is a great buy if you don’t need to hold up anything over a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. It’s rated up to 750 pounds and I’ve now had a fully assembled KA24DET on it and it worked fine. My biggest concern is the twisting portion of the stand. There is no barrier between the mount and the stand, makes it difficult to twist the mount and runs terribly in the inside of the stand. For the price point of $70, it’s not a bad little investment for your project!
