fairly quiet. good little compressor for little projects. wheels make it easy to move around. lighter and quieter than myl "portable" compressor with less capacity

This arrived quickly and intact (despite what others said about the gauges) and was easy to put together. My only complaint on the assembly is that the wheel caps were so darn difficult to install. I ended up using my dead blow hammer to get them in place. Once together this thing performs well and is so quiet compared to my old pancake compressor. Having the additional volume and SCFM works great for using my air impact gun and chisel. The additional volume and quick refill are also appreciated when blowing off my tool and welding benches. One word of caution - when the thing is running, heed the warning labels about the top of the compressor getting hot. I learned this the hard way by mistakenly touching it a few times. Other than that I love this thing!

Great little air compressor, fast inflation and better yet, really quiet

I bought this as an upgrade from my little 1 gallon air compressor. It's quite the step up from that, especially for oil spraying my vehicles. Long term I cannot comment on yet. It is relatively fast to fill up and I paired it with the 80ft retractable 3/8 hose reel. So far my only disappointment is in the noise. My other compressor that is also rated at 66db is at least half the perforce noise of this one. I'm wondering if mine got the 78db version of the motor and pump head. It's still quiet compared to most other air compressors I've heard but definately not 66db. I can't hear it inside on the other side of my door from the attached garage. It tends to sound about 1500w on start up and then settles to 1280w. It's just a bit under 2hp at 1.72hp give or take a bit. I think it'll serve my needs well and I can already continuously now without waiting for the compressor. It's also fairly compact so that's nice when you have so many different things happening in the garage.

Perfect for small job! Little bit noisy, but ok for small job like air ratchet, impact, inflate tires etc ... Not recommanded for tire machines or paint.

Fairly quiet with the mufflers on, almost sounds like a dying duck without them. Compressor works as it should, has a small leak somewhere as it cycles without anything attached to it, about every 4 or 5 minutes. One of the guage faces…the glass part…rattles like mad while the unit is running. I think a bit of hot glue should fix it. Overall ok. Wish it was quieter…
