I'm not finished yet but I can already tell this will make my driveway very stable. My only complaint is that there are not enough connection pins per box. 25pins per box is needed. Not the supplied 12.

This is a 6 month review. I am a big fan of this product. It’s exceedingly cost effective and blindingly simple to install. The quality is on point for the price, and I am buying more of it. When I first laid it down and filled the cells with gravel, one or two tamps made the cell lock up like a 4” concrete curb. I have had everything from a caterpillar to a well drilling rig drive on it like no big deal. I’m happy. That being said, there’s a few things you should know to be happy with it. First off, the little plastic clips that come with it are so useless to the point of being counter productive. Use them ONLY to hold the ends together while you bolt them together with galvanized 1/4” bolts with washers. The edges and seams are weak, so make sure you support them, especially anywhere that will take a load. The material will not hold up without it. I put road cloth down under it, which is keeping the gravel from sinking out. It can be placed over a surface that has not been leveled, but it’s much easier when you start with a flat level area. I started with 10” of mud in march, and had a layer of gravel dropped on top. A few runs of compaction, then the road cloth and finally the geocell. The neat part is that the cells work like a gold sluice. Once the cell is full the gravel glides over it to the next. I did a large portion of spreading the gravel with a rake and a hand tamper. So far it’s very water permeable and resilient. We’ll see how it works out with the snow this winter.

I haven't put this down yet, but I will use it for a driveway. It appears to be good quality and cheaper than elsewhere. It doesn't come with pegs which you will need. I bought the 10cm deep version but you probably only need the 5cm deep version.

This is like the usual geo grid you can get from most suppliers, but it's only 50mm (2") deep. Which is what I need for my driveway. Each box comes with joiner hardware, but there are no anchors. I don't use anchors, just some temporary stakes and when the cells are full and compacted they are pulled. You can, of course, stretch this more or less to modify the size. I've found filling the cells by dropping the fill from the bucket works much better than trying to push fill across. Pushing tends to distort the cells a little.

It's a good product. I used it with a composite shed which unfortunately has a soft floor. But if you use this for a walking path, placing pavers on it, gravel driveway or place a shed with a rigid floor on it. I can see it working very well. And it was much easier for me than setting up a wooden raised floor or poured concrete slab. One thing that I found the instructions didn't note for the quick set up, but a rep at Vevor helped me with is definitely secure it down with u shaped nails or tape it down to your weed fabric because when you start pouring in the stones it has a tendency to want to lift off the ground and find it's way to the top, almost like oil in water. I will definitely be using this system again now that I know what to do.
