Works perfectly! No leaks after finding the correct fiitings to use. Easy to bypass. Spot free! (For me it was easier to assemble with the help of youtube videos.)

Purchased for home use vehicle washing. The cart version works better than a fixed system for me. It sits fine but ensure that hoses sit in front of it to prevent it from tipping backward. Assembly was minor and went together without any problems. Initial use was anything but smooth. The bypass was SPRAYING out water from fitting (tube to valve connection). After pulling apart the bypass fittings, found the gasket was very rough on the outer edges. Tried reseating several times with no luck (Customer Service instructed me to use black spare that was included w/ unit). Seems to have worked, small drip now. A couple of mins later, the 'double female' garden hose adapter on inlet separated into (2) pieces. I could push them back together by hand but, any tension on the inlet hose would cause them to break apart again. I replaced it with another double female adapter, purchased separately. The DI filters & the housing worked very well. No leaks from either the housings or valve threads. There was initially an amines (fishy) odor during the flushing of the unit which dissipated quickly. The TDS in the water reached Zero quickly and I was able to use the unit to supply a small pressure washer. I was very pleased with the results. Input TDS of 500+ I would rate the unit as follows: Wheel Cart 4 out of 5 Hose fittings 2 out of 5 (expect to replace-bad) Bypass tube 3 out of 5 (rigid tube would be an improvement, but it works) Valves 4 out of 5 Housing 5 out of 5 Resin (cart.) 5 out of 5 (we'll have to see how they perform longer term) Overall, I like the unit. Based on my experience, I would buy it again at this price point.

****UPDATED**** Sometimes when things aren't right with a purchase, it is the customer service after the fact that makes a difference. Vevor has went above and beyond my expectations to make this purchase right. They took care of the leaking valve issue and I have a perfectly working DI system now. Thanks! Like most Vevor products, if precision is required do not purchase. Save yourself the headache. While the DI portion of the system works as intended, the valves are absolute, and I mean absolute, garbage. The money I saved over buying a waterdrop was completely negated by the additional money I had to spend to replace the crap valves. Very disappointing. Again, save yourself the headache and get the real deal.

Purchased about 2 months ago and use when washing cars. Final since is with the filter and does what it says it will do, prevent water spots on paint and glass. Works well.

No Spots!

After assembly I checked for water leaks. Ran water through at a very slow rate in bypass mode. Turned valves to non bypass at same slow flow rate and ran for about 2 minutes. I disconnected my hoses and let the resin soak for a few days. My water tester registered a TDS of 211 ppm on the input flow side. Before the soak, I was getting an TDS of 25ppm in non bypass mode. After the soak, I am getting a TDS of 0 ppm on my tester and on the onboard TDS meter in non bypass mode. The unit is working very well.

The unit worked well and produced spot free water. However, as others have stated, the quality of the brass quick connect fittings are terrible. The quick connect hose coupling leaked and the two piece swivel female hose connector broke apart when trying to get it to stop leaking. I worked for over an hour to try to get all of the brass fittings to stop leaking and finally gave up.

It only lasted 5 washes , and I only use it for the final washes .

Definitely NOT spotless. This is one of the few items I have ordered from Vevor that I was not impressed at all with. While it does cut down on water spots, there are still plenty of them. I also purchased a water tester and the PPM doesn’t seem much lower than without the filter. I would not purchase this item.
