Saves a lot of work! We didn't push the capacity and used lots of water to flush the feathers away. We were very happy with the results.

Haven’t used this product yet. However I’ve made other reviews for products on this site and they remain hidden. VEVOR clearly hides low reviews and inflated the ratings of their products. Don’t you find it odd that there are no reviews under 4 stars? At least Amazon showed me the good and the bad, so that I can be informed. VEVOR just wants your money. They don’t care if you’re satisfied or not. This is a terrible business practice and is extremely unprofessional. Be weary or search for VEVOR items on Amazon to get a more clear picture before you buy. I hate to say it, but this comes out of China, and you get what you pay for. Spend the money on something of higher quality somewhere else.

Easy to use. Just a few seconds and bird was clean. Easy to clean up. I would recommend to any body that wants to process your their own poultry.

Have not used plucker yet as the chickens are still being prepped. Purchase and delivery were very smooth and am looking forward to saving time with the plucker. Gave 4 stars for features and easy of use since I haven't used the plucker yet. Once used I will update the review.

First time using a plucker, only tried on 9 to 11 lbs chickens and after about 20 seconds the birds were clean. I never had the machine jam but the birds legs get caught occasionally, being large birds. Very happy with the purchase.

Arrived very quickly, was shipped in a wood framed box and arrived with no damage.Everything worked great. We just used it to defeather 11 meat birds in about 15 mins. Was very efficient and I'm glad I purchased it. The only thing that was a problem was the holes to put the wheels on were not drilled properly or not there at all, wasn't a big deal for me as I put mine in my garden cart to easily move it around so I ended up not needing the wheels.

so far so good. As advertised. As long as you have the water at the right temp this will work like a dream. If you neglect it, it will underperform and I think that’s where any negative reviews come from. You have to make sure the feathers aren’t building up or it will result in a jam. I was doing 5.5-8lb chickens and it worked great. The larger birds made it rock some. Couple things I think could use some improvement are the power switch is a little cheaply built and it fell apart but I put it back together. I see that going out at some point. The stainless upright section could fit the base a little better. The base could be a little more sturdy. And lastly the feather extraction could use some tweaks. All in all it seems to be a great plucker and at less than half the cost of the other guys, I really can’t complain. I got more than what I paid for.

Decent for the price

I have been using this plucker of a few years now with no issues, we process around 200-300 birds per year. I have read other reviews of people having issues with it not turning on. One thing that I have found is that you need to clean the feathers out from the bottom of the drum every 2-3 birds. I only put one chicken in at a time and the drum needs to be spinning BEFORE putting the bird in. Following these steps I have had no issues and birds come out fairly clean with out getting too beat up/bruised.

Gets cloggedcwith feathers easily even though tge water hose was used constantly.
