Je länger die Druckleitung, je höher der Auslass, je kleiner der Innendurchmesser der Druckleitung und je geringer der Öffnungsgrad des Ventils in der Druckleitung ist, desto höher ist der Druck am Auslass der Pumpe. Die werkseitige Einstellung des Druckschalters liegt bei 70 psi.
