This hand drum is a musical instrument of the idiophone class. Made of nitrogen-coated steel from two deep-drawn half-shells with a hollow interior, it is designed for both aesthetics and durability. This hand drum is in the key of D minor and features 9 notes, including a center note and 8 tone fields for a pleasing vibrato. On the top of the hand drum's side ("ding") is a middle "note" struck, and in the center are seven or eight "tone fields" struck. Hand drum in D minor, 9 notes (D3 A Bb CDEFGA).
Sound test
All tones have excellent resonance. Each note is checked with a tuner – minimal fluctuations ensure a beautiful, vibrating sound.
