Have been using this affordable but high production quality device in co with my sandblasting cabinet for over 6 months now - excellent piece of equipment, does all I ask of it, keeps me dust-free. Vacuum cleaner attached to it requires regular filter cleaning, other than that the self-sticky tape around the clear plastic cyclonic part could do with some improvement, as the pipe can separate from the chamber due to the somewhat weak tension held by the tape. Overall, very happy with this product for the price.

This cyclone dust collector is big and can handle a lot. Look at the size difference between the bigbox store version. (See pic) i filled up the 13 gallon drum and this was all that i had in my vacuum. See pic just a small bit of dirt, 0 saw dust. I would so buy again. I actually think the step down from 4" to 2" helps in the cyclone effect. To connect the hose i used 1 1/2" rubber pipe splicer.

I bought this to work with larger 4” dust collector I recently acquired. This cyclone works great, catching everything but the very finest particles. With a 1 micron filter bag on the exhaust side of my collector, my shop has never been cleaner!

It works great, the cyclone separator and the metal tank are really good quality. The separator has a 100mm hose inlet so it can be used on a planer without any problems - in this case it would need a bigger tank, ideally 100l. And just a small complaint about the design of the separator, there is no "return section" so that something doesn't accidentally fly into the turbine. For whatever reason, finding a product like this is almost impossible anywhere, especially in Europe. I use it in my big dust collector unit and it works very well. The dust still gets to the filter but like 99% of chips stays in the separator. Only thing I wish is that vevor sold an even bigger unit with 130mm ports. If I had to make any complaint it would be that the cyclone walls could be a little more steep because the dust can swirl in there for a while but it's not a big issue. Extremely good purchase

It works good, easy to assemble, lots of extra adapters to make every possible combinaton of vacuum cleaner and hose fit. I use a Hilti VC40 which is very powerful, and imploded my previous cyclone separator (another product, not this one), but the Vevor works fine and does not implode even if the suction hose gets clogged for whatever reason.

Bought this to use with a concrete grinder. It works fairly well to collect the coarser material although there is still a lot of cement dust getting through to the Vacuum. Fortunately the vacuum has a filter clearing mechanism so it keeps working Ok. The adapters to the vacuum are pretty basic and do require customisation to your vacuum. I am sure there are better designs of dust separator, but this seems Ok for the cost and of course the drum it uses has more capacity and is easier to empty than the vacuum. With this combination there is no visible dust in the air, but I still use a proper rated respirator.
