Het is voor deze prijs een redelijke kachel. Verwacht er niet te veel van, maar het is wel een wat dikkere wanden dan de meeste andere kachels van deze prijsklasse. Helaas wil het deurtje niet helemaal dicht omdat de haak te hoog was gelast. Op zich niet erg, tast de werking niet aan, maar wel jammer. De tas is vrij fragiel die je erbij krijgt dus heb er zelf een andere om gekocht. Kachel is zeer stabiel en makkelijk op te bouwen en af te breken, vooral de aslade is fijn. Enige nadeel is dat na een paar keer gebruiken de schroefjes in de kachel (overal rondom) los blijken te gaan. Na iedere twee stookbeurten moet je deze dus bij langs om ze aan te draaien. Hier gaan we nog wat op verzinnen want kan natuurlijk niet de bedoeling zijn. Al met al, redelijk voor de prijs als je het vergelijkt met andere producten uit deze klasse.

The build quality is excellent and for the price paid, I couldn't have bought the steel to make the heater, never mind the stainless vent pipe. Time will tell how it performs.

La estufa es robusta, segura, y de muy fácil montaje. Le veo una pega, le falta algo en el yubo de la chimenea, para cuando llueva... tanto la lluvia como los insectos pueden entrar directamente, ya que sólo se puede cerrar el tiro, y nos es algo factible cuando esté en uso.

Selve ovnen er fantastisk. Den er nem at samle og står meget stabil. Den giver en god varme og det er let at styre varmen. Dog synes jeg at skorstenen ruster for nemt. Så undgå at lade skorstenen stå, når den ikke bliver brugt i et par dage.

I purchased another hit tent stove four years ago. Good price but the burn box was so small, you had to stoke the fire every hour and a half plus a regular camp log would not fit! I was done with it. Yes, there are other hot tent stoves you can purchase that are significantly more expensive and may be lighter, but for price, quality and functionality, you can beat this stove. Unloaded up the stove at midnight and got it going and then closed it down. Having the damper is key. It burned for 4 hours. When I opened the door, there was 3* of hot coals ready for the next log. My only criticism is the round top ring. It's very thin and warped a bit during the initial burn but does dot affect performance. I would have preferred just a flat top! I may have it welded. Anyway, great little stove. I see people using stoves in "cold" weather. It was -16 C wind chill of - 27C. A real test. Just as warm and toasty as can be. Cooked on top worked great! Vevor comes through again! Comes with a nice carrying bag, gloves and poking stick.

Honestly this stove is freakin sick for the price (155$ shipped) I got it assembled easily in about 20 minutes, everything went together perfectly and it looks great. Burned it HOT for probably around 16 hours total. The first 4 hours MUST BE DONE OUTSIDE to off gas the paint fumes from the stove. It stanks. Its nasty. It will give you turbo cancer. Once it off gasses its great though! No smoke leaks, very clean burn, a full load of wood (2x4's) lasts about 4-6 hours in this stove. Probably longer with seasoned oak. Chimney doesn't leak, no smoke seapage or back flow, and it just works great. Now for the bad / improvements 1 - i installed a wire handle because the factory one gets HOT. 2 - the paint / coating could be a little more rust preventative. After 16 hours of burning the coating around the chimney exit is flaking off, where some rain got on the stove it has surface rust. The rest are just being picky 3 - they should have welded in a couple horizontal supports on the top "cook surface" of the stove to prevent it from warping. After heating it has an ever so slightly warp so a pan wont sit perfectly flat. 4 - would have been really nice to include 1 or 2 45degree chimney elbows for alternate mounting setups. 5 - the wood grate could be a little longer. It leaves about 3-4 inches of stove floor not covered in grate. If you can live with those issues, this stove is fantastically usable.

I got the stainless steel one, it holds 3-6 hours of heat and is very very well made. It feels high quality. It will burn unseasoned hardwood without splitting it, just throw some 16 inch logs in there (mix of hardwood and softer wood) have your damper about 1-4 or half way open, fine tune your air intake with the front knob so that there ain’t too much oxygen rushing in and rushing your fire and Youll be warm for most of the night, might have to get up once or twice
