I love my VEVOR Water distiller. My water contains PFAS, not mentioning iron, calcium, sulfur and other nasty stuff. I *could* filter it, or use reverse osmosis - both much cheaper electricity wise. But then I must keep track of filter age and so - and replace expensive filter all the time with all the impurities in my water. A water distiller on the other hand - just works. No filters to change, no need to keep track of exactly WHAT to remove, since it takes all impurities. I take the electricity bill all days in the week for this! Also, most often I need the extra heating with such short summers here up in the in the north anyways (increases the temperature in my house ~2°C). And still cheaper than buying bottled water. This is actually my second distiller, since using it almost every day, I guess some day or another it'll break down, and now I got one spare! Spare silicon seals are to be found on AliExpress - it's a shame they not are available here at the VEVOR site. It's the only consumables in this machine. Also, remember to add some salt before drinking the water to correct the osmolarity and taste.

Works great as a water distiller, it was plug and play with no issues and the flow rate seems as advertised. I ran a vinegar & water mix first and also discarded my first product run out of an abundance of caution, but the output looked clean from the start. I suspect people who had "black bits" coming out in their first run failed to realise there's a charcoal filter already installed when it arrives (and it needs to be soaked before use). It pays to read the instructions. In its standard form it's too fast for alcohol distillation, 750W is simply too much heat and the temperature control only switches the element on and off, which just causes pulses in the run. When the element is off the distillation stops completely, and when it's on it will push the full 750W and cause your distillate to gush out again (so it's completely pointless to run it below full power). It does still work, as in you will get high proof spirits out of it, but the quality of the result will be very poor. But thankfully with a spare standard 3-prong IEC power cord (the kind used for some other kitchen appliances, or computers/monitors) and a voltage controller (~$40 AUD from Ebay/Aliexpress) you can turn this into a great spirit still. It seems happiest for spirits when dropped down around 110-115V which equates to 360W, and that effectively turns it into the Still Spirits Air Still that costs $380. The spare power cord is to plug the lid/condenser/fan assembly directly into an outlet, as you always want that running at full power and not off the reduced voltage. In my opinion using this with a voltage controller is better than having the basic Still Spirits Air Still, because you have the flexibility with this to smash through a stripping run in about an hour using the full 750W of power, but can then turn it down to half power for spirit runs. With the Still Spirits you're stuck at 320W which means much slower stripping runs and a voltage controller isn't going to help you with that. To improve on this Vevor set up you'd have to move up to the Still Spirits Air Still Pro which is $750.

Habe schon eine andere Version, mit Kunststoff aussen, gekauft und nun noch diese dazu. Beide laufen sehr gut und machen eine super Arbeit. Reines Wasser aus normalen Berliner Wasserhanwasser. Die kosten durch Strom sind bekannt und überschaubar. Die Lautstärke ist bekannt und normal. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen der aus Flüssigkeiten das beste heraussedestillieren möchte.

Have bought 4 of these for our Aquacure50 machines and for general consumption, used multiple times a day for the past 4yrs. Fantastic product! Reliable, functional, set and forget, excellent quality. Water quality is the best.

Works flawlessly. It seems to be a quality product.

Love this, I use lots of distilled water. It was definitely worthwhile. I normally set it up just before bed and it’s good to go when I wake up. I would love to explore other things it says it can do, but there are no instructions or recipes for distilling anything else.

Ce distillateur est d'une efficacité redoutable pour purifier l'eau. C'est livré avec des filtres mes franchement, je ne vois pas trop leurs utilité.

Excellent distiller for making vodka distilled water essential oil oils. Works well and definitely worth the money.
