I bought this for my 40ft shipping container. I hooked it up to a 100w solar panel and installed a 14\" intake vent. Keeps the container cooler than the outside temperature in the hot california desert.

Installs in the wall. Does not come with a switch or any other controller. Installation/setup: Have an electrician install per codes. Final thoughts: The wires on the fan are very short. My electrician did not like that part at all. He installed a plug end on the fan itself and put in a plug right next to where we cut a hole in the wall of my hobby shop. My walls are unfinished, I only have outer wall paneling with a foam board insulation and we placed this between two studs high on the wall. I installed this to provide ventilation because my 3d printers put off some pretty bad vapors. I put in a dimmer switch controlled by Alexa to speed up and slow the fan as needed and I’m pretty happy with it. The fan works and the shutter opens and closes as needed. It pulls enough air in my 10 by 10 shop that it creates such a suction when I turn it on at its highest speed that I may have to install a relief valve or a vent to provide more air. I also have a laser cutter that makes smoke and fumes as well and it pulls them out even at 30 to 40 percent of power. I like this and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

As the listing clearly states this does not come with the controller but those are easy enough to find on Amazon so to us that was a non-issue. The fan does a great job and isn't terribly noisy. We can definitely feel the difference on the days we run the fan vs. the days we don't. Setup and installation was fairly simple and the instructions were very clear. It's a great fan at a great value and we easily give it a 5-star rating and would definitely recommend it.

This item popped up on Vine just in time. My shop's attic summer heat exhaust fan went south late last year and I've been putting off the replacement. When this fan popped up.... I snagged it. I was fortunate that the hole was already in the wall and all the wiring and the temp controller were in place. The removal and install less than 10 minutes. The fan is very very quiet as attic fans go. The overall build quality is superb and the components are of a quality you would expect from this price point. I currently have a wood workshop in my garage and since there is no insulation or ventilation, it can get extremely hot during the summer months. I have been looking for a solution to allow ventilation to not only help with the heat, but with the dust and debris that flies around when cutting wood. So when I saw this pop up in my feed, I decided to give it a shot. The fan itself feels solid. There is also no installation required to put it together which was another plus for me since I am not too good with electrical stuff so I went ahead and hired an electrician to install the unit in the wall for me which looks great! The motor when it is turned on has a very low noise which is great since I use big power tools in my garage anyway, so another little noise is not going to bother me.

I was looking for an exhaust fan for my 6x8 duck coop. There were several options to chose from but decided on the 16” standard model. It’s been working like a champ.

Thing works as expected and does what it is supposed to do. If I would need another one I for sure buy this one again. Currently it keeps fumes out of our shipping area. Keeps air cleaner and dust and fumes out.

Fan works as well as expected. Installed in the peak of gable end in a 24x 36 metal building with a 16ft peak. Probably could have used a bigger fan, but this one helps a great deal. Sorry, no close-up pics.

This fan has been wonderful. I still need to build a frame and filter set for it. But working in a home garage it's plenty powerful for what I need it for.
