I had a u shape VEVOR seal on the bottom of the garage door for about 8 years. The door received abuse and the ends of the seal wear not holding up as well as before. After seeing the new design with the O Ring, I had to make the move to replace the old one. The new one conforms better to the variances of the concrete slab, that it is needing repair. I took the bottom rail off to make the install easier. Pulling the old one off and cleaning the tracks really helped. Spraying with soapy water made the pull and push on effort work better.

My poor old door seals on my garage doors have been junk for year., I saw these on the Vevor website and they where half the price of what it is at my local hardware store, so I thought it was worth the gamble. I am going to warn you that installing these seals is a two person job. My wife and I and plenty of soapy water in a spray bottle managed to slide the seal into the track on the bottom of the door but I had to remove the bottom door panel to be able to manage it. The seal stretches as your sliding it in the track so before trimming it to length let the seal rest and contract so you don’t trim it too short. Use plenty of soapy water to make the seal slide easier. As I pulled the seal the length of the door my wife guided into the track so it didn’t slip out of the grooves. Expect a forearm workout installing the seal and without soapy water it would be nearly impossible to do. We are extremely pleased with the performance of the seal so far, for years rain water would come in the garage every time it rain, so far we have had several thunderstorms with high winds and we have a dry garage for the first time in years, it seals better than when our doors where new.

Die Materialien sind robust und wetterfest, genau das, was man sich für eine langlebige Abdichtung am Garagentor wünscht. Die Dichtung fühlt sich stabil an und scheint sehr gut verarbeitet, was sicherstellt, dass sie Wind, Regen und Kälte problemlos abhalten kann. Leider passte die Dichtung bei uns nicht optimal ans Garagentor – ein kleiner Rückschlag, der allerdings an unseren individuellen Tormaßen liegt und nichts über die Qualität des Produkts aussagt. Für Garagentore, die den Standardmaßen entsprechen, wäre dies eine erstklassige Wahl und würde den Innenraum zuverlässig vor Witterungseinflüssen schützen. Fazit: Fünf Sterne für die hohe Verarbeitungsqualität und die robusten Materialien. Eine empfehlenswerte Dichtung, auch wenn sie für unser spezielles Tor leider nicht die richtige Passform hatte!

Good quality but maybe for new doors . Once the door in on it place is imposible to fix it .

Better than the original do the job

It got the job done. I ordered one to try on 1 of 3 doors, the other 2 doors I used another brand. The Vevor brand seemed to be more prone to tearing while trying to pull it into the track and more care had to be taken with the Vevor brand than the competition.

As the title says, installed this and started ripping in a week's time. Initially thought it would be durable with he additional rubber inside but I guess not.
