Une très jolie main courrante de bonne qualité malgré une origine chinoise. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le service après vente (Louise) qui s’est décarcassée pour me remplacer une pièce défectueuse. Un service très professionnel qui m’a comblé.

I had placed an order for another hand rail, but they were late in shipping it, and I found this hand rail which was much more to my liking and the price was better. So, I purchased this hand rail, and couldn't be happier with my decision. I installed it, and like the extra security the second hand rail provides.

The railing is exactly what we were looking for. We weren’t putting it over concrete but bolted it to our wood structure surrounding the steps. We found the railing to be easy to put together and to install. It fits perfectly in the space we needed and is a great help when going down and up the steps.

Would have given it 5 stars but there is some corrosion (rusting) starting in a couple of places after only a month of use outside. However, you could touch up the areas with Hammerite ‘direct to rust’ paint. Despite this it is good value for money and is, if you are handy with DIY, easy to install. The finished result looks very professional and neat and providing you get the anchor fixings right it is strong enough to resist someone falling into it. The supplied 12mm masonry drill bit is, like other reviewers have pointed out, an SMS item, so if you haven’t got an SMS drill you’ll need to buy a regular drill bit if you don’t already have one. I mounted the rail on tiled concrete front door steps. I used a 6mm diamond tip Erbauer self cooling drill bit (c.£19 at Screwfix) to start the fixing holes off for the upright posts. Doing this at 6mm enables you to more accurately keep the centre line of the hole in the right place. You need to keep the position of the 4 holes for each upright post precise as there is very little clearance between the supplied anchor screws and the holes in the post’s baseplate. I then used a 6mm masonry drill to put a pilot hole into the underlying concrete. Then I carefully opened up the 6mm hole in the tile progressively using an 8mm then 10mm and finally 12mm drill bit. Take care doing this as it’s easy to crack the tile - let the drill bit do the work without putting too much pressure on the drill. Doing this with masonry bits as opposed to diamond tile drill bits saves money as the larger diameter tile bits are very expensive! Once the hole in the tile was at 12mm, I progressively used an 8mm, 10mm and finally the 12mm masonry bit to get the hole in the concrete to the right size whilst keeping the centreline accurately placed. The supplied metal steel inserts can then be tapped into the holes using a hammer. Sounds labour intensive and yes it does take a bit of time but patience is the key to a good strong job here, so persevere. All in all a good item in my opinion.

The product showed up in three days. it seems heavy duty and it fits any slope which is great. i was prepared to spend $1,000.00 on something custom to make it look right and this does the job and looks great. It was pretty straight forward on how to assemble which was good because the instructions were very minimal. The only issue I had was the SDS bit they sent was not compatible with anything i had ever seen before it must have been a Chinese or European style bit. it was square and wouldn't fit in the chuck of my battery drill and it wasn't an SDS plus or max chuck! I made it work but it wasn't pretty.

Product worked well enough for what I needed it for. and installed easily, Material was a thinner gauge than I was expecting and was not as sturdy as It needed to be.

These are extremely high quality handrails. We purchased 3 sets for one area and liked them (and Vevor’s customer service) so much that we bought 6 more sets for other outdoor areas. The handrails are beautiful, very heavy duty, and easy to assemble install. We had a bit of difficulty making adjustments to fit our very uneven steps, but made it work. Ultimately, the handrails look and work beautifully. (Notes: our first 3 were purchased from Home Depot, but Vevor has a better price and that’s where we got the second six sets. Also, the first delivery broke a box and we needed to use Vevor’s customer service to replace some lost hardware - they were terrific.)

The boxes arrived a bit beat up and damaged (they are quite large). I was pleasantly surprised that the product and contents arrived unscathed. Assembly and installation was straightforward enough. However, the flanges at the base of the posts were not square with the posts, making installation very challenging. I was able to square them up, and they came out great.
