I originally bought this to use as a pizza dough flattener but I have found it difficult to use for that as the dough is very stretchy and sticks to the paper. I will practice more with letting the dough rest longer and spraying the paper with a light coat of oil to see if that helps when transferring to the baking pan. However, I I have found it great for flattening chicken thighs and breasts. I sprinkle the meat with seasoning and then press it and it fries up beautifully for a grilled chicken sandwich. I’ve also used it to crush garlic cloves and works well for that too. It’s very versatile and heavy duty.

Nice and round all the time the lid cools off quick but keep the heat on and u got some good tortillas

Very solid and well made. Works very well with the following caveat - It works as well as any other press the limitation is the fact that a flour totilla will shrink back as the pressure is released and the doughs natural elasticity takes over. The press does most of the work for you and leaves you with a circular tortilla which is a tad too thick and needs a quick touch up with a rolling pin . It is much much easier than rolling from scratch and a few seconds work will give you the perfect tortilla. The weak point is the rather low quality hinge pin which is best replaced before it needs it.
