Though all the sides and top and bottom are the same only one top and two sides were perfect but obviously that's all I needed. I'm using it as a computer desk and it's perfect

Nice table top. We used it as a kitchen countertop, trimmed to fit and added poly coating, works well.

I ordered this table top along with a motorized standing desk frame to put together a new computer desk. It is really heavy and great quality. This size is maple and the light finish looks great. Packaging was good, with high density foam on all the corners. Unfortunately the shipper dropped this at what had to be a pretty good height and damaged one corner. As this corner was at the back and underside I kept the top as the dinged corner won't show. What the dinged corner does show is that this table top is solid wood and not veneered fiberboard like so many desktops out there. Combined with the motorized standing desk frame I now have a beautiful computer desk for a fraction of the cost of similar standing desks available. To attach the base, I put the base on the top, measured to make sure it was centered properly, marked the screw spots with an auto-center punch, then used a drill stop to prevent drilling too deep and pre-drilled the screw holes. Overall I think this desktop is a great deal. It looks good and is sturdy and thick and does not sag at all, even with three monitors and various other items on it.

It is heavy duty, but not plain wood. It is covered in a nice "plastic" that will handle any wet work, but would get cut up if used for knife work.
