Bought this and have owned it for 1 month (July 2026). So far I have used this unit every other day since it was delivered. So far this has been an excellent little unit. I have only used this for investment casting but for this purpose it’s pretty awesome.

This is a great little kiln and I’ve fired it a ton for my pottery. It gets quite hot and definitely reaches a hot cone 6. Perfect for testing glaze or for small pottery projects at home. It’s easy to find different firing schedules on YouTube as well.

Habe ihn bis jetzt zweimal benutzt. Alles hat gut geklappt. Der Schrühbrand war perfekt und auch der Glasurbrand. Über die Brennkurven für diesen Ofen kann man im Internet bei YouTube viel ansehen.

Have been using the Vevor furnace for bisque firing small ceramic pieces for a little over a month. So far it has been really successful. It reaches programed temperature in a couple of hours. The timer is truly a plus- you set your temperature and hold time in 9 programmable sequences and then begin. When it completes the cycle, it shuts off and begins to cool. I have tried glazing, but am still having issues. I have a temperature schedule but have not had successful glazing as of this review. I have attempted to use cones 5 and 6 but have had success. They toppled over or the temperature was not correctly set. I did choose the 1650 watt with the higher vertical interior. Looking back, that extra horizontal inch would have made a significant and better preferable choice due to my upcoming projects. However, it will just take a small alteration of my designs to accommodate, so no big deal. My upcoming project will be using it in Raku firing. I trust that will go smoothly! Overall, I do love it and will continue to use it as much as it will allow!

I bought this kiln and it is definitely small and not for production studios. However, I just needed something to try out glazes and use for small pieces and mugs. If that’s what you’re looking to do. This is a great home studio kiln.

I love my Vevor Furnace. I am a hobby potter and have used this for test tiles, bisque firing a mug or small vase, both in bisque and glazing up to cone 5. It is a great tool and so happy with it.

Heats up quickly and the digital temp sets easily. Using it to fuse metals in Mokume-gane. Will also use it for glass on copper enameling soon. Update: perfect temperature holding ability. 100% success rate for making mokume-gane billets.
