This is sturdy and stable if you dont exceed the weight limit and screw it to the wall. It is stronger than my old walmart unit that gave out after 20 years in the shop. This probably isn't really shop rated like I will use it but I will just be putting bins of small light parts on it. I got 2 units so I could have more shelves and a foot taller. I will just cut the 3rd tier corner brackets to my height needs and have 10 shelves in about a 6 foot unit vs 5 in 5 foot. I will screw it to the wall in several places. Easier to assemble than the bolt together units like my old 1. Easier to move shelves too. You might need a 2nd person getting it started. Though I managed alone. Once it is started and free standing it is so fast and easy to put together! It comes with a little hobby hammer but You may want to grab a larger dead blow hammer like I did. Couple whacks with dead blow and it was together. Otherwise you are going to be beating it together all day long. At least VEVOR was nice enough to include a hammer for people that didn't already have one. The shelves are thin MDF and unpainted. You should paint them. Mine will be in high humidity shop so definitely painting them with exterior paint. You can use interior paint if yours will be in your house. If you need something sturdier, go to home cheapo and get some thin plywood. I may eventually if these don't last but I bet I get several years out of them. Metal frame has a nice textured finish. Probably powder coat. I don't think you will have to worry about rust even in a shed, shop or garage.If you need something that will hold a thousand pounds this aint it for sure. But use it as intended and it will last a very long time.

The tools included to assemble were really helpful. The written/picture instructions, not so much. You really have to really figure out how, but it is worth it. It is Avery sturdy shelf for the price.

Ein kleineres Set für die Waschküche, das Gallonen Waschmittel, Bleichmittel und verschiedene Waschmittel enthält, und 2 weitere im Keller, die alles auffangen, was sonst nirgendwo hineinpasst. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und gute Qualität. So gut, dass ich überlege, 2 weitere Sets zu kaufen, um die Garage besser zu organisieren.

This was a great addition to help clean up a disastrously messy garage! I picked this shelf because the shelves are adjustable in height. This is obviously great for storing a lot of different things, but I used this specifically with a bunch of 6\" x 12\" x 18\" Sterilite boxes (the common, clear plastic bins), and the combination fit beautifully and keeps things organized, protected, and with hardly any wasted space. The shelves aren't the sturdiest in the world, as to be expected for the price, but once loaded down with weight, they don't wobble, and hold a good bit of weight with no sign of strain at all.

The product was easy to put together and only took about 20 minutes to assemble, which was because I'm retire and just took my time. Just some pointers: make sure you put the gloves on (metal material), start at the bottom using the supplied mallet. Don't put all the rubber end protectors on all of the rails, just use \"eight\" total (four bottom and four top: this is only for the 30\" or 36\") rack. I have the five-tier rack. When putting it together I counted nine spaces up from the bottom shelf for each shelf space until I reached the last shelf space, which came out to eight spaces at the top. Also, while attaching the rods together I did press down while using the rubber mallet to tap into place. Make sure the \"big\" holes are on top when putting it together. When installing the spacer connectors (4 each) for attaching the extended racks, the manual doesn't really show which way the spacers goes, so I installed them with the \"lip\" part with the \"curve part\" facing up, which worked fine when attaching the extended racks (rods) to them. They fitted perfectly. I know that I've said a lot, but I hope this helps someone when putting your project together. Thanks

These shelves are really strong. They hold 400 pounds per shelf. I have a pantry room that I completely redone with these shelves and they worked out perfectly! Very easy to put together too!

This unit assembled easily. Great instructions. The shelves are pressed fibreboard so I'm going to seal them on all sides with Kilz-2. Fibreboard would not hold up long in the shed in our Florida humidity.

Just right for my tool shed. Even comes with it's own plastic mallet! Easy to assemble, good quality, and very sturdy!

Very sturdy shelving unit! Easily put together. No sway, stands up straight without wobble. Would recommend for any storage. I use it for tools and hardware. Bottom two shelves loaded with power tools and absolutely solid. Will be buying another one come spring!
