The only downside is that it's SUPER loud. But the benefit is you'll save so much media by using this instead of nothing or a shop vac. All you have to do to recover the media it vacuumed up is open the bottom of the chute and pour the media into a container. It even has a little spring loaded plunger that knocks the media off the filter. As with any of these kinds of products, I might have just got lucky. But I've bought quite a few Vevor products and have yet to get a dud. They actually do seem to make good products that are way cheaper, just like they say.

I mounted this to the typical HF cabinet. It replaced a ShopVac/dust deputy setup that worked but lost suction fairly quickly. I use medium crushed glass media. 1. Yes, it's loud (wear hearing protection) 2. You'll have to clean the filter (Remove it and knock out the dust) after about every hour of use. 3. It moves a ton of air when the filter is clean and will suck up media. Dump the media out of the bottom before cleaning out the filter so you can put that back in the cabinet without the dust. 4. It's not a miracle cure, it still requires maintenance but when it's working it's a lot better than a regular ShopVac. 5. I'm sure the included filter is letting some very fine dust through it, You can tell when it's running. If you are sensitive to that then just wear a dust mask when in use.

I have had one of these before and they are quite effective and do what is required of them. I have found it difficult to get replacement filters.

Questions claim this collector isn’t comparable with the 25 gal. Blast cabinet but my cabinet is a 90L (24.7 gal. ) cabinet and this worked great on it. I did have to drill my own holes but all else fit good.

This dust collector is a beast! I can't believe how much suction it produces and the great price. It's loud but it's built incredibly well and worked perfect on my blast cabinet- with some modifications. Love it!

This thing is great, better and easier set up than the vacuum bucket method. It’s loud but the pros outweigh the cons. If you run a blast cabinet very much at all, this is very much worth it. I definitely have no regrets. I set this up on my hf 40lb blast cabinet.

I have had a Harbor Freight (Central Pneumatic) Blast cabinet for many years. It was very hard to use for any length of time because the viability from the dust was impossible to see through. I tried several different ways to hook up a shop vac to it, but the results were less than satisfactory. The Vevor unit was just what was needed. It went on in a few minutes. I had to drill four 5/16" holes. I hooked it up and turned it on to see how it functioned. In seconds the glass window fractured and blew into the cabinet! The blast cabinet had the cover in place for the air intake on the back of the cabinet. The Vevor was so powerful, it fractured the glass window and sucked the glass right in! I was amazed by the power of this unit. The broken window was actually a good thing. The glass was not tempered and definitely should be. Tempered glass will not etch as easily and should it break, it fractures in very small pieces. This is a highly recommended upgrade for any blast cabinet. In any event, if you install one of these, make sure the intake plug is out!
