Hybrid function priority to electric vs solar power need timer controller to calibrate this function well

So I was searching around for a attic fan on a budget. Needed one to help move unwanted heat from the attic because it makes the 2nd floor of my house very hot. So I came across this fan and I've always heard of the vevor brand so I figured I try it out. Especially for the price I paid for it, it was definitely cheaper than the other brands. I like that it has solar power which is the main reason I bought and it has a plug that you can plug into the wall. Definitely helps keep temps down in the attic. There's hardly any noise that I can hear with the fan on.

Was easy to setup and install. Manual gave great directions. Been running for 2 days so far so good

Reliable and Efficient – A Great Addition to Our Greenhouses As part of Sol Spaces' commitment to building smart, climate-resilient structures, we recently integrated the VEVOR Solar Attic Fan (40W, 1230 CFM) into our greenhouse designs—and the results have been excellent. With rising summer temperatures, effective exhaust and airflow management is more important than ever. This fan provides powerful ventilation (1230 CFM) while remaining quiet and weatherproof. Its solar-powered design aligns perfectly with our sustainability goals, and the included 110V smart adapter ensures uninterrupted performance, even during cloudy days. We’ve found this fan to be a dependable, low-maintenance solution that significantly improves interior climate control in our greenhouse units. It’s now a standard feature in our builds. Highly recommended for anyone looking to boost airflow in a greenhouse, garage, or other enclosed space. — Sol Spaces Inc.

Great product that I have used for a few years. My clients have been please with the lower profile look. It has cut cost down as well. We will continue to use this product and recommend this product.

Good product. Have some Roof Sealant and extra crows before starting installation

These solar attic fans work great!!! I have 2 installed and my attic is extremely cooler!

Great item for the price. I hooked it up woth only using solar. Time will tell on quality and longevity.

Läuft wie es soll – ordentliche Qualität. Das Metallgitter ist gut gemacht, und die Einbauanleitung ist auch genau richtig.

I purchased this fan for an attic much smaller than suited for the fan (900sqft) but it's ability to be turned down means it is perfect. This has fixed the issue of moisture and mould in my attic. I did have to seal off the ridge vent and upper vents but once that was done it dried out nicely, even in the recent cold moist weather on Vancouver Island in March 2026. I took it down to test if it may work on top of a shed in the back under trees in the shad. I was surprised that it started up again as soon as I walked outside, even while under the eve of the house out of direct sunlight. I am amazed that it will turn even with such minimal light. It operates at a much slower speed in this case, but if you account for that it is fabulous. I have ordered the less powerful one for my shed now and will never go back to trying to vent humidity from my attic with passive air movement again.
