This solar cover appears to be made of a nice durable looking material. I have had other solar covers that do not have the tactile feel that this has giving it the impression that the material is thicker and stronger. This is just my perception so far, as the real test will be how does it compare over time while being exposed the to direct sun and constant contact with the chlorinated water. With previous covers, it wasn't unusual for the cover to start showing signs of serious wear by sometime in the second season. So this will be a longer waiting game to compare if this material makes any significant difference. Besides all that, the basics are... The cover looks great. My pictures are prior to trimming it to size. I order mine a little smaller as a full coverage cover seems to trap too much debris for my location. So hoping this helps to allow the skimmer to pull in some of the debris that would otherwise be trapped.

This cover is much thicker than my old one. I measured the thickness with a digital caliper and it truly is 16 mil. I expect it will last 6 seasons since I only cover the pool in the spring and fall when the weather is cool, then store it the remaining of the year. One big negative, the 16 mil thickness makes this cover stiff and heavy. It may be difficult for one person to pull it on and off a large pool. Folding it will also be a challenge. Best to use a pool cover reel to roll it up. Or, cut the cover into 2 or 3 smaller sections to make it more manageable.

No hype, this cover is definitely thicker. And, the others tell you a size, but are always a few inches smaller. This cover is exactly as represented THANK YOU! And a small extra plus, but makes a big difference in evaporation saveings, the others have 3\" wide seams running the full length with no bubble flotation. Water always accumulates on thez stripes, thus constant evaporation is wasted. On this cover, there are NO LINEAR SEAMS. (so bubbles cover the entire surface) Better flotation, better insulation! Didn't get paid to say this, it just bugs me what garbage the other brands are, that's ALOT of plastic to have to be throwing away every year when the cheap stuff delaminates. This one is well worth the few extra dollars, I just hope it lasts a couple years?

Thus cover is fantastic! The first time we took it off, I put my hand in. It was steaming and hot! We couldn't believe it! We had to get in and stir the water then it was perfect. Our water stays around 93. 91 in the late evening! Also it tells you to cut it down to fit into the pool but we left it original size. This way it keeps bugs to the bare minimum and no leaves. Absolutely worth it!

Muito bom. Apesar de não ter vindo na medida da piscina, deu para cortar a medida. Em dias de calor aquece a água e em dias mais frescos mantém uma boa temperatura.

It’s ok, could be cut 6 inches longer and wider so that it doesn’t allow pool water to pool on top. Time will tell if the quality is any good.
