I am an electronics engineer. This product is defective or a scam. Tested with a 300A LiFePO4 battery. It does not provide even 1600W on the claimed 2500W. They have a Watt meter on the unit that gives a false reading (I tested with a resistive load to make sure the reading should to be correct). It is possible they falsified the meter reading to give you a false impression that you are using the unit to its fullest potential. So when you connect a 1500W load it tells you you are at the limit of 2500Watts, this way you do not put anymore load and discover that the unit can't even deliver the claimed power. See pictures, my Watt meter has been tested and I know it is correct. My Watt meter reads 633W, the unit says 1138W. At 725W it reads 1304W. At 1317W it reads 2362W.

Don’t buy.! I bought the Inverter because of the relatively low price and high power of the unit. First of all, the dc cables they send to connect to your battery bank are grossly inadequate. If operating at full capacity, a 12 volt system can pull upwards of 450 amps and VEVOR supplied cables are 1 or 2 AWG at best. They could literally melt the insulation and start a fire if the device came anywhere near delivering 5000 watts of power. Second, VEVOR’s ad saying it can “run your device” is deliberately vague. A modified sine wave inverter can run most devices, but there are some it’s not recommended for that VEVOR fails to mention. For instance, it runs motors and compressors inefficiently. They run hot and take additional power and this can damage air conditioners and refrigerators over time. Third, VEVOR’s customer service is awful. I requested an exchange or refund this inverter over 4-days ago and haven’t gotten an answer yet. The first response said they would respond with a resolution within 48 hours. The second said “typically within 48 hours.”I have sent many follow-up messages, but I’m still waiting. My next step is g to dispute the charge through my credit card. Of course, VEVOR will then probably wake up and contest the dispute. VEVOR sounds like the kind of old, reputable company that stands behind their products. But the name is only a clever marketing ploy. Far from reputable, if you have an issue, VEVOR will leave you hanging and hope you go away. Ironically, I’ve bought two relatively expensive products from VEVOR in the last 2 months and they sent me an email recently saying I now get priority returns. Wow! If this is the priority returns process , I’d hate to see standard.

I purchased this large inverter for my RV, to run a Harbor Freight Electric Log Splitter while camping. Splitter is a 120V 15A rated. Unknown in-rush current or duration. Thought this Inverter would be overkill, but not so. I connected inverter to battery back with 2-0 heavy battery cable, 3 ft long. Plugged in the Splitter and hit the on button. Inverter went into overload. : ( Gunna talk with my local electric motor guy and see what I can do to slow down the in rush current. The splitter works fine on any 15A outlet in my house.

I NEVER RECEIVED EITHER OF THESE PURCHASES (POWER INVERTERS)...I NEVER RECEIVED REVERSE CHARGES BACK TO MY BANK ACCOUNT ($465.74) ... WHY DID ESTHER (CUSTOMER SERVICE REP) CLOSE THIS CASE BEFORE I RECEIVED MY CHECKING ACCOUNT STATEMENT ??? Why has nobody called me or texted me on this situation??? I'm NOT happy about this....
