Say what?! ~$100 for a soap cutter that matches the size of my loaves? That's unheard of, right? Unless it's some cheap think that break on first use... Right? Nope not this one. This one goes, goes and goes!!!! Not only does it look to be well built (Lament wood) but it come with extra wire and tools. What more could you ask for? I'm not going to say it's the best one on the market. What I will say is that I'm impressed with this build. You can tighten the wires for cutting and then loosen them for storage. So far, I've cut 10 loaves and not had an issue. I'm making a 5-loaf batch each week. That's about 50 bars. We have cut 100 bars with only one issue. I didn't tighten one wire enough, so the bar was a little bulgy. Other than that, I would only say it would be wise to get some kind of brush to keep it clean. Nothing too abrasive. Just something to get the "crumbs" out of the smaller spaces. The tools have a nifty little spot, but they don't sit still. Find a good place for them as well.

I'm so glad I purchased this for my soap business. It made cutting soap sooo easy and fast. You DO need to do a few things to set up the soap cutter.... instructions were pretty good, I was able to set it up by myself. Overall a great product- I'm very happy with it.

This cutter is a pretty good investment.

I got this so I could even cuts of soap for my small business. The cutting wires are too loose to cut well upon arrival. So definitely check them before you use them. It sized the soap bars well, but doesn’t cut the whole way through so you have to pull bars up to finish the cut. Also the wood crease thing fierce cutting the tallow soaps I make, which I know are harder, but they cut find with the hand cutter I got in a kit. I am still figuring out how tight wires should be to do the job well, without feeling like I’m gonna break the wood. I use it, it gets the job done. It seams sturdy at first, so I suppose if your soap are soft at the beginning of curing this would be magnificent!!! It’s not the not the worst, and I have not clue what soap cutters go for anywhere else. I’m would say it does its job sufficiently. I do love that it came with tools to rewire it, and an extra set of wires!!!

I'm very disappointed the wire breaks every time I use

may work good for soft soap but breaks the wire when trying to cut setup melt and pour soap. If the soap is harder than a Colby cheese it will break the wire every time. When I did get it to cut the cut was NOT Straight.
