I just started learning how to MIG weld and thought this would be a good idea to have to protect my garage floors from splatter. The first time I used it the splatter from the MIG burned straight though the blanket, despite seeming like a good thick material , the MIG splatter burned holes in it straight up, pretty disappointing , and annoying as I bought 2 of them one for myself and one as a gift for a friend.

it was not fire proof it was poor quality not fiberglass it was similar like plastic

Its ok, a few of the eyelets have already come out. It will do the job.

This Fabric quality is decent, the craftsmanship of the stitching & trimming of excess material isn't there. I'll have to use this to see if it holds up to normal wear.
