I purchased this quite awhile ago and haven't had a chance to use it yet. From what I could see it's sturdy and will for sure do the job needed.

Got it to clean my chimney, works good and easy.

The product itself is of high quality, I think. But for my particular situation it was difficult to use. My 30’ tall, 9” diameter round chimney is entirely vertical, no angles whatsoever. As I was adding flexible rods and moving the brush upward, when I was about 2/3 of the way to the top and stopping to add another rod, the weight of the whole assembly caused it to slide back down into the firebox. I made a second attempt but the same thing happened, so I gave up. The 2/3 of the chimney was cleaned well, so I can’t take issue with the chimney sweep kit’s effectiveness. But for tall, purely vertical chimneys, it has its limitations. My plan is to try assembling a support made with PVC pipe, something that will contain the flexible rods a foot or so into the chimney. The rods would be fed through the PVC pipe. I’m thinking that if the assembled rods are kept in the 9” diameter chimney, they won’t buckle when I stop to add another rod. It could get pretty messy with the dirt coming down the chimney as it’s getting treated, but that’s maybe a simpler problem to overcome. If I didn’t enjoy challenges I’d probably just give up on trying to clean this chimney myself!

Pretty sturdy pole setup. I used all but two poles for a two story wood burning stove pipe. I also used a shop vac as well with this. The bristles aren't as stiff as I expected. From what I can tell, it did the trick. Would recommend to anyone not wanting to fork over the change to pay for a cleaning. If you're even slightly handy, it's pretty easy. Took about an hour or so. Will hit it with occasional creosote to keep it in good shape!

funziona benissimo. gli agganci delle aste quando si sporcano diventano duri. gli spaggi facili da sostituire con spago da decespugliatore.
