This is a great, very compact camera system. However, I purchased this system specifically for its camera capabilities, and the instructions are not in the manual. The instructions do not clearly explain how to easily take videos or snapshots of what is displayed on the screen. To perform these tasks, you have to navigate through several menus each time, which is not very intuitive. As a suggestion, it would be helpful to have a single button on the video screen to snap a photo, start video recording, and stop the recording. Currently, none of these tasks are easy to perform. It would also be helpful to have a clear and simple way to play back or view recorded photos and videos. I take pride in working closely with my customers, and having an easy way to show them what was recorded would be extremely useful.

Awesome machine nice features

Comparing to my ridgid mini reel it’s not bad. Camera quality is great, functionality is good, price is awesome and push rod doesn’t feel too flimsy but can tell a difference in the quality compared to my ridgid. The only down side I can find is the sonde built into the head. Can locate great above ground but once it’s in the sewer and gets deeper than 3 ft , you’re screwed. If you’re doing a lot of cipp work, coating and patch repairs, then it’s awesome. But if you intend to use it as your main camera for locating blockages or breaks, don’t bother. Even tried attaching a sonde specifically for septic tank locating, but they both cancel each other out. Next step is to see if the Spartan sentinel camera head is a good match and see if that sonde actually works. Would pay extra for vevor to use a better sonde. I’ve only tried my ridgid scout. I don’t see another locator working better but will be renting different locator from another manufacturer to see if it can pick up the sonde.

This camera seems to be made well for the price point. Camera is really clear and it has a light that is plenty bright. The only bad side are the directions are not real clear and the buttons are not intuitive, but once again for the price point it is well worth it.

Found it easy to use being lightweight, compact, and cordless

The price was good it was on sale. It is good for light use. the picture is very good and the light is bright. I got the 165' long model How ever, the fiber optic cable is a bit thin and I don't think it would push out easily for a long stretch. the case feels a bit cheap. If I was buying now I would get the unit with the hard case. I have only used it a couple of times, but I think its a decent deal for the money.

Hele goede camera voor deze prijs. Ik kom er alleen niet achter hoe ik het filmpje kan opnemen. De beschrijving mag wel wat uitgebreider. Verder echt een topapparaat! Ik gebruik hem bij verstoppingen en het beeld is heel goed.
