Nice combiner box. Sadly, no PV shut-off included and fuses rather than breakers, but it is quality. Note that the 63 Amp main breaker may be too high if not using all four PV inputs and very heavy wire to run from the combiner box and may need replacing to be safe. We could only run 10 AWG wire from the combiner box and use two of the 4 input lines (~2400W 22 amps at 130+Voc with 3 x195W panels in series x 2 in each of the two input), so the 63 amp main break is illegal and pretty useless at protecting 10 AWG wire and needs replacing. At 11amps from each parallel section of the array the 15amp fuses were ok. We also put it in a stainless box as the squirrels here are ferocious on wire and plastic. Besides, the input wire needs protection (by code) and those MC4 input connectors also do not meet code and need strain relief. I was probably better off building it from scratch with a din rail, DC breakers, and my stainless boxes from the scrap yard. But, this one is convenient, if modified as needed.

Jeg forstår ikke helt Jeg har købt den med fire strenge af 15 ampere stykket og nu har jeg så modtaget den på seks drenge er 15 ampere stykket to gange 15 ampere er =30 ampere men ledningerne efter sikringerne er ikke tykkere end den med fire strenge det burde den jo have været .... Jeg har set udsendelse med hvordan man samler et anlæg til stolepaneler og hvor det har været afprøvet ledningerne fra solpanelerne blev lune så allerede der er ledningerne sådan set for tynde er lavet men, det er som sagt ikke helt ufarligt at lave sådan noget der er jo stor mulighed for at der kan gå ild i plastik ..... Så jeg er ret spændt på når jeg laver en prøveopstilling med otte solpaneler og fire batterier af 100 ampere timer plus at jeg laver noget forbrug på batterierne ... Hvis ledningerne i sikringsskabet til solpanelerne begynder at brænde så kommer der et erstatningskrav fra mit vedkommende så jeg håber for jeres skyld at tingene er i orden ikke også bliver den erstatningskrav meget stor ... Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase. It made my the whole job look professional and safe and it allows me to add on quickly to my array.

Works fine. Does what it is suppose to do. Quality ok. The connector tool is poor, it does not work.

I'm holding back one star because I feel that the lock is cheesy. The box can be opened with a flat blade screw driver. Otherwise, this seems be good quality and less expensive than if I sourced the parts and assembled them myself.

The device is not yet tried but the construction itself and appearance give confidence in the item. If the device shows the anomalies over time, I subsequently report.

I believe others have made this note as well. First thing you have to do when you receive it is to move the fuse holders and breakers on the bus bar. If you don't you wil find that should you ever have to replace fuse #1 you will not be able to. As well, the fuse holder pinches the ground strap that goes from the main case to the front door panel. To me this is just sloppy workmanship. The cables that go from the connectors to the bus bar are clearly labeled for the negative wires. Though no corresponding labels in the junction box, it appears that they have used left to right number of the ports with #1 port being on the left and the corresponding longest cable is marked as number 1. I haven't installed the system yet, but hopefully there will be no issues with its function. Just be aware this is not an assembled plug and play item. You or your installer will have to assemble the wiring into the jucntion box. Not difficult, but if you're expecting PNP you will be disappointed.

The cable connections for positive and negative on the terminals are backwards, so be aware of that when you get this kit, you’d have to make new cables from your panels to match what the kid includes
