Got this since we live in clown world and campfires are banned everywhere. It's a nice pit with a decent flame. It puts off enough heat that in summer the group wanted it left on low, and it was still an enjoyable flame. It seemed big coming out of the box, and I wondered if I should have gone with the 19", but in use I'm glad I ordered the larger one. PRO TIP: lay the rock out on the sidewalk or driveway and hose off the dust. Makes the rock prettier and eliminates the dust mess. I like that it came with a grill grate and strap to hold everything together. Electric ignitor works great. Only negative is I wish it came with a 10 or 12ft hose instead of 6ft. Still 5-star value!

Most of the local campgrounds no longer allow wood burning fires, so we chose this propane one. It was perfect for camping. It is portable and easy to use. We enjoyed making s'mores over it.

The starter didn’t and still doesn’t work No instructions stating a battery was needed for the starter there was a leak in the hose
