Ich habe es schon benutzt. Alles ist toll, aber ich hätte mehr kaufen sollen.

Just got the forge so haven’t set it up yet due to I didn’t realize I needed to order Rigidizer and Refractory Mortar. So add another 50 dollars to set the forge up properly. But the fit and finish of the forge seems well made for a forge in this price range. Very few pieces to put together so assembly is very easy. Shipping was fast and properly packaged with form fitting inserts. Be careful removeing the refractory bricks which are inside the forge along with the regulator not to tear the insulation material. Looking forward to using forge after the furnace box has been prepared properly. But still happy with my purchase.

Great piece of equipment. Have forged several blanks for knives on it and shaped some ties. Gets HOT.. sometimes it gets a little finicky with the barrels. One gets more hot than the other, has scorched up the barrel.

I bought this as my first forge and it performs very well. There are considerations and care that must be taken when using it, but this should be expected of any forge at this price point. I coated the firebox using a stiffening spray and then 3-4 coats of refractory cement to isolate and trap the insulation fibers and retain the heat. It's possible to use the forge if you skip this step, but it becomes a respiratory hazard if you're working in an enclosed space and this is true of all mineral wool forges. I also added additional firebricks at the front and rear as doors to further isolate the heat. Again, you can get metal to forging temperature without these, but they will save a lot of fuel and keep your shop much cooler while allowing you to reach higher temperatures. All in all I had no problems with the regulator or burner and once you get it dialed in you can forge some pretty significant pieces in this little thing. I've worked 1/2" square stock and 3/8"x1" flat stock without issue - it will get there if you're patient and running at the right fuel/air ratio. I find I use about 1-2 lbs of propane per hour of forging.

Add another 100 CAD for rigidizer and refactory cement. Good fire bricks go for 15 around here, you need two anyway. It brings metal up to 2000F quite easily and stays hot for some time. No problem turning burners on after being off for 5-10 min and they light right up. This is my first Propane forge so act accordingly with this info.
