This is a great drill for the price. I looked at many seemingly comparable ones and they all cost at least $800. I've been using this to drill out old bolts that have broken off on the side of my cast tractor casings. It's been more than up to the task. The magnet holds it reasonably firm and the drill itself is more than powerful enough. The bits have been able to drill into grade 8.8 bolts.

This drill is solid feeling and has a ton of adjustments available for many tasks. The magnet grips well to keep it in place. It has had no issues drilling any of the holes accurately. It is louder than I thought it would be but I wear ear protection normally anyway. This was a great addition to my tool kit and I will be using it a lot more.

Worked better than I expected. I used a 11/16 vevor cutter and drilled 22 holes through 3/4 inch steel plate. And the bit is still in good shape. Also used the 2inch cutter and cut 16 holes through 5/8 steel and it is still sharp. I used cutting oil in drill and used hand pump oiler can for additional cooling. Probably not ideal for everyday use but for an occasional job it works great for the small investment.

I was dreading the thought of using my bench drill press for a sculpture (which so far weighs 100 KG) but would necessitate trying to clamp the sculpture upside down and due to 130+ lengths of 10 mm diameter steel rods, would have been absolutely impossible to secure. Using the oxytorch to blow holes through was out of the question to avoid heating basalt rock. That's when I saw John Cadogan's video on the Vevor Magnetic Drill. The perfect solution! However, while my workbench is made of steel, it's only 7.5 mm thick, so I made a metal base 20 mm thick for the magnetic clamp. Now I'll be able to complete the sculpture, which would've been very difficult without this tool.

This drill is a great deal, drills very well and has an extremely strong magnet. I have used it to drill through 1in plate down to 11ga. I have even drilled holes with it upside down, great product

Great unit easy to use

I have used a lot of these, and the quality is amazing for the cost, it does everything that i need and more.

Product is very good value. Couple issues: - Box delivered was damaged, it look like it fell off a truck, the magnetic plate was really scratched up on the bottom too. - I had to sand down the diameter of the included jacob chuck arbor with some emery cloth. Using digital calipaer It measured at 19.06mm initionally and then after sanding 19.02mm. Fits in the drill now. - Magnet seems pretty weak, just cranking it down will life the plate off of the metal when tested on 5mm steel. Might need to try thicker steel for a different result. Im just careful to put it on high speed until the initial purchase of the bit, and then I lower the speed and crank harder after that which works well. Cheers Vevor, I'll probably buy more stuff.
