The description says powder coated but its really more like silicone coated. Either way its very sturdy and was simple to install. I followed a video on youtube. It also came with written instructions. Ive owned an xpole silicone pole before and it cost $550. This Vevor pole is just as good for a fraction of the price. Dont waste your money on the expensive brands unless your a gymnast po

Pole review
2163–2700 mm Silbrig
Very fast delivery and easy installation. But I will say no matter how much I have the pole tightened it seems to move after a short period of time of being in use.

It wasn’t tall enough for my ceilings, tried to send it back they gave me a refund of halt the price… eventually I found an extension to extend it and now it reached my ceiling but the spin option doesn’t work. Waste of my money for real. The silicone is decent though.
