The product it's self is great, but it was supposed to come with 450 grams of steel balls. Ours measured to 390g on 2 different scales. That is a big variance. I have had to buy more from the supplier that can get it to me in 10days, however it is AU$ 35.00 which is about 40% the cost of a full machine.

I like the unit, it does what it is suppose to. The only thing I don't like is the two screws that hold the cover down they rusted within two weeks. What I found is that the tumble media is very important on what is being done. I can now clean my coin purchases very quickly taking many many days off the process. I am thinking about buying a voltage timer for it to run at longer periods and shut the unit off automatically.

Le produit correspond parfaitement à la description. Il est très efficace et facile d'utilisation. Je l'utilise pour des bijoux et nettoie avec du liquide vaisselle ou du produit de polissage. Attention par contre les billets fournis sont très grosses donc ne vont pas dans les petits et elles rouilles. J'ai dû acheter des tailles plus petites sur d'autres plateformes.

Bon appareil qui a l'air solide, à voir sur la durée. Attention capacité 3kgs et non 3Litres, donc plus petit qu'il n'y paraît. Un dernier effort de Vevor pour mettre de vrais billes en inox, en effet elles rouillent, c'est mesquin, au prix de gros avec 5 euros on a du vrai inox, ça fait désordre de nettoyer avec une eau couleur rouille.

Bon voire très bon résultats sur des douilles avec seulement du liquide vaisselle et de l'acide citrique. On peut regretter les que les points abordés par les consommateurs ne soient pas pris en compte : cordon d'alimentation un peu court, qualité des billes décevantes, difficulté pour ouvrir le bouchon de fermeture (un petit appendice facileterai l'ouverture), la notice en anglais. This does the job for small pieces of jewellery, but the shot went rusty after one use. So I had to purchase new shot on top of the cost of the tumbler. I don’t think it works as well as some but it’s working for what I need it for at the moment.

This is the second of these that I purchased. I'm using them to tumble rocks in stage 1 even though this is designed for light weight cleaning tasks... coins, jewelry, etc... Still, it makes for a very inexpensive rock tumbler compared to machines built to tumble 12lbs of rocks. This has a decent DC powered motor, but the conversion circuitry (from AC / mains power to DC power for the motor), seems to be grossly inefficient..... which is where my title comes into play..... With a total barrel weight of 9.8lbs (empty barrel + rocks + water + grit) this pulls a LOT of power from the AC outlet, using about 4x the electricity of my 3lb tumbler overloaded to 4lbs. It cost me about $1.50 per day to run it from AC plug in. Upon noticing that it has a DC motor, I converted my first one to run directly off 12V battery - NOT RECOMMENDED unless you have professional training in AC and DC electrical systems. As soon as this one arrived, I also converted it to run on 12V battery with a voltage rheostat to control the RPM's. My battery will run one tumbler for about 228 hours, nearly 10 days, and then costs about $2 to recharge the battery to run another 9 days. Running both tumblers at the same time dropped me down to about 98 hours runtime. Unfortunately, I didn't think to plug this one in & test it out before converting it. It has a bad motor, which was only evident after turning on the auto-reverse feature after I had already converted it to run directly off battery. It runs fine forward, but when it reverses, it doesn't run well at all, to the point of coming to a complete stop two days after the conversion, then won't run forward or reverse... The motor is getting slightly warmer than the first unit I bought, at about 115F, the original one only gets to about 100F right next to it. So it's not due to overheating.... Seems like just a bad motor. I primarily got the second one for the new barrel anyway. After 12 months of almost continuous tumbling, the original barrel is starting to wear out. It still has quite a bit of life left in it, I would guess that it has at least a another 12 months of tumbling before it wears enough to be trashed. All-in-all, I would recommend this tumbler, just make sure you check it out pretty well as soon as possible.
