One thing that's always held me up from really shipping at home was that I'm horrible at guessing weight, and you really have to be so precise. So although I've been able to purchase and print shipping labels from home I found myself still going into town to do this. (1/2 hr highway drive to town)This scale seems to be very accurate and makes this so much easier. Easy to read, easy to use and large enough for many somewhat larger packages. I haven't had anything too heavy for it and being so flat it stores very well also.

Got this scale and right out of the box it took less than 60 seconds to have it working. Very easy to use, and great to have the ability to scroll through all of the units of measurement. The hold function is handy to have as well. Have been using it daily for 2 months and absolutely no problems. Highly recommend.

Parfait et pratique ! Le fait que la balance fonctionne avec des piles ou avec une prise la rend nomade. Elle ne prend pas beaucoup de place quand tout est rangé dessous.

Great price for a great product. Very accurate when on sturdy level floor. Highly recommend. Use to weigh dogs. Just wish it came with a thin piece of rubber or something that could make it non slip. Got a cheap welcome mat at dollar store to serve the purpose. For others on the market this was a fraction of the price and just as accurate if not more accurate.

I bought this to weigh the show lambs on. It seems to be right on. It will give random numbers if it is not exactly level

très satisfait ( la précision de la balance est surprenante ) pour un article de ce prix c'est très bon Merci

We buy a lot of things online. And as we all know, some of those things don't work out. And if you are not buying from Amazon Prime (or someone with similar policies) you can find yourself doing the harder work of prepping shipments, measuring box dimensions and weighing those packages. In those cases, I'm a big fan of handling as much at home as I possibly can -- either via UPS or Fedex (depending upon who is cheapest). I'd much rather handle purchasing the shipping label at home and dropping a package off and going, than standing in line at the UPS store. We have an old school postal scale with something like a 6\" x 6\" top that we could try to balance packages on to weigh them. It worked, but wasn't great. This scale is a much better solution. The base is quite large so it's easy to get a package to stay on it. It's accurate (enough) for any reasonable sized package you'd ship. That being said, I suspect mine is off by a handful of ounces, particularly if weighing something light. For instance, I can put a bag of flour on it, and the weight is off by a bit. So don't plan to use this for precision work, and maybe don't use it if you are trying to measure the weight of internal letters, or something like that, where ounces matter. But for us, for the occasional box weighing need, it works well. Also, just FYI, the readout is clear and the way you interact with it is pretty dead simple. So the instructions are probably not needed, unless you are going to use the tare function, or something like that. So overall, we are pretty happy with it and it'll be nicely useful when we need to weigh those packages.
