used it on my deck 14ft 2x6 and it was a big time saver

Very strong and easy to use. Works great in breaking down pallets made of both soft and hard wood. I had a powerfist one prior and the hollow tube handle bent and ultimately collapsed, plus the base was flat and split the majority of boards when trying to pry them up. With this design, the curved base and attention the metal and solidish handle all work as a well oiled machine and give great leverage. I still get about 5% breakage, mostly due to the condition of the boards but honestly it is easier, and helps save a lot of rework, a great design and 100% amazing for breaking down pallets for reclaiming the wood. I have not had a chance to try it on deck boards but the assumption would be still great!

Quality material but because of the lifted sides, it is sometimes difficult to get it under the items. Also, it has no leverage bars, making it difficult to pull backwards when using.

Works really well. Excelent design. I try not to have single use tools, other than fire extinguisher but I expected this to be one. But I used this as a super pry bar to lift a root vefre I got to use it on a pallet. Highy recommend.

So, this thing is really really big. Too big to be of much use demo-ing walls, unless you're strong like Hercules. But it would be great for ripping up flooring that's already partially up, or pulling apart pallets Hard to justify buying a tool this expensive just to break up pallets, but if you need something like that often, this probably meets the bill and may be more appropriate than a wrecking bar or crowbar.

I got this pallet buster specifically to breakdown wooden pallets, but it has proven to have many more uses around my farmhouse. I have heavy-duty pallets that used to carry aluminum bars, which I get for free from a local business to use as firewood. They are made from hardwood and have heavy threaded nails holding them together, but this tool still tears them apart with ease. I burn the wood, but you could salvage and reuse it because this doesn't destroy the integrity of the boards. I've been able to use this for several other things as well including as a torque bar and prying apart cemented/glued landscaping stones and decor. This is heavy-duty, but it is not too heavy to carry around on the property. I don't see any way that this could break - there are no weak points. The shape and design is pretty ergonomic and easy for anyone at any height or weight to use.

Work's great on regular skids, larger skids had to redesign it to make it work. All in all great tool.
