DIYDW5 Solid Pallet Dismantler
Very strong and easy to use. Works great in breaking down pallets made of both soft and hard wood. I had a powerfist one prior and the hollow tube handle bent and ultimately collapsed, plus the base was flat and split the majority of boards when trying to pry them up.
With this design, the curved base and attention the metal and solidish handle all work as a well oiled machine and give great leverage. I still get about 5% breakage, mostly due to the condition of the boards but honestly it is easier, and helps save a lot of rework, a great design and 100% amazing for breaking down pallets for reclaiming the wood.
I have not had a chance to try it on deck boards but the assumption would be still great!

Autumn Nice product
I absolutely love this tool. I am 5’2” and this tool is an amazing help it cuts the time half at least. It gives me great leverage. Works great on average sized pallets. Does not work quite as well for large pallets but is still an amazing product.

Kevin A time saver, but still leaves some other hand tool work to be done.
It does a decent job removing SOME pallet boards. Once the typical three lower runners are removed, there is nothing to pry against for the top boards, so you still have to dismantle some by hand. If you plan for this you can loosen them a bit before the runners are gone and then complete the job with pry bars or a sawzall. It does save a lot of time when dismantling pallets, just not a efficient as I had hoped for.
