Joseph This worked fine by hand on cold oil in a boat with inboard V8 engine.
Manuell 6.5L
I bought the hand operated as I did not want to deal with the compressor. It worked just fine....took me about 10 minutes of slow pumping to empty my V8 inboard motor on my boat. Quicker than I thought it would be. Ambiant temperture was 68 degrees and I did not run the motor to heat the oil. It actually worked!

Thaiho Great product easy to use.
Manuell 6.5L
This oil extractor is very convenient, no mess, easy to use and no need to go under the car. From now on I will be changing oil for my car more frequent and no more trip to the mechanics. It is a very good investment where you can save money changing oil yourself, I highly recommend this product.
