I have an air compressor but I wanted to try out the manual pump. Pumping out 8.5 quarts of oil from a Mercedes V6 engine. Pumped several times to get it flowing and continued to pump for a minute. Seemed like it was going to take quite some time so I stopped pumping and the suction kept it flowing. I used the thin hose down the dipstick tube but the wider one would have fit and that would have sped up the flow. Every so often I gave a few pump to make sure it was flowing good. Got every drop of oil out. I had to remove the drain plug to install a crush washer and the pan was totally dry. Easily replaced the oil right from the container. Quality unit exceeded my expectations.

Tried this on my inboard engine to change the oil. Worked awesome!! Its not a cheaply made product either, its quite robust.
The tank holds a fair amount of oil which is better than other products i checked before buying this one. I went full stars because i don’t see any negatives with this unit. Thumbs up👍

This thing is great I've used it on two different vehicles now and the ease of use and cleanliness is top notch. I don't really have anything to compare too but I do wish instead of having a handle to let air into the cartridge I wish it was just a lever that you could adjust how much psi is added so you could meeter it in while the oil is leaving instead of just holding it or constantly adding
