Don’t let the bad reviews fool you. I think that they are using the chair for other things than what it’s designed for. I’m 5’10” and 210 lbs. and a left above knee amputee. The chair has plenty of room. It is very well built. I have a 5x7 shower and going from the cheap traditional shower chairs to this rolling chair was a game changer. The wheel locks were hard the first time I locked them but were easier after that. The seat and back are rubber and not foam covered with vinyl so that’s a plus for me I only intend on using it in the shower but checked the fit over my ADA toilet just for this review and it fits perfectly. The only thing I changed is that I don’t need the footrests so I installed some plastic pipe plugs in the holes where the footrests go. The look of the chair is also very nice unlike most assistive devices. Would definitely recommend.

This chair is well made. It is the best product we have found that suits our 92-year-old dad. It makes transferring easy.He feels safe and secure on it. Great product!

This chair has been a game changer for me! I have almost no use of my legs, and very weak core and arms. I needed a chair I could get onto easily with a slider board from my power wheelchair. I had tried other shower chairs without wheels, and even bought one with wheels, but the arms could not be raised (which I returned). This one checks off all the boxes: comfortable seat and commode cutout, foot supports, and allows me to wheel over the commode. It rolls across all surfaces reasonably well.

Both ankles broken. This chair was the solution to getting from my bed to the chair and then using my own toilet instead of a come out. This might be one of the best products I’ve ever seen. The seat is a little narrow, but if you have someone to help you, it works great.
